Riding the bus back to the parking lot and the Kentucky fans look just as dejected as the Bama fans. That was probably one of the worst 2-3 games they’ll play all season. And we laid the biggest egg in years.

Our best players aren’t vocal leaders. Herb had earned that right, and had upperclassmen to back him up. I’ve smoked with JQ and Shack, both very chill and nonchalant, not necessarily locker room leaders, just hoopers. Keon is his own guy I’ve heard, stays to himself and does what’s required of him. Hopefully Chuck coming on can bring out some edge in this team, they just seem to have no true identity as a unit.

I get why people talk about effort, coaching, lack of leadership, etc. but the truth is the team just sucked today. They couldn’t hit anything. I know this team looked good on paper preseason, and at times, it shows.
But at this point, I feel these players just aren’t very good. JD does not look ready for this level forget the NBA.

Yea we just sucked tonight - mostly shooting, but just in general on offense. I actually thought we played hard as hell defensively and on the boards.
We just don't have all that many good offensive players - and JQ can't shoot anymore which means it's basically up to Shack. Kentucky just took him out of the game and we had zero other answer.

I feel sorry for Shack and Q. The games hinge on them and there is little margin of error. Theres no one to pick up their slack when they have bad games.

Yep - and Shack just kind of plays the same way no matter what (shot hunter), so I don't think it effects him that much......but it clearly effects JD.

JD has different aspects he needs to work on like using his left hand, ball handling, using multiple offensive moves, shooting, and defense.
But in order too get the most out of JD...he will need a better supporting cast.

I don’t even think JD will start next year, Joka. Jaden Bradley or a portal guy will 100% start over him

For the first time this season we're truly on the rails.
Lose at Ole Miss and we come home to play a much better and hot Arkansas team. Lose both those are we are sitting at 14-11 (4-8) with State, @ UK, @ Vandy up next.
