Alabama Looks to Snap Streak Saturday Night at Mississippi State

The No. 24/25 Alabama men's basketball team will look to snap its two-game skid when it makes the short 80-mile trek to Starkville, Miss., to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs Saturday at 5 p.m. CT on SEC Network.

It marks the first of two contests played between the longtime rivals, as the Bulldogs make the return trip to Tuscaloosa Feb. 16 (6 p.m. CT).

Saturday's game will mark the 207th meeting between the teams – the most games played against any single opponent in program history. UA owns a 129-77 edge in the all-time series which also is the most wins against in single team in program history.

Scout team had 1.64 ppp against our starters after the first 11 possessions of 5 on 5 today.

Coaching staff challenged the starters after that and scout team had 0.35 ppp on the next 18 possessions after that.

Good grief, will these guys just buy in already?

It's really fvckin hard to fathom at this point. At some point you have to ask if they can even recognize when they aren't locked in, don't you? I mean there is no way they continue to choose to allow themselves to float around like this, right?

Sigh

We may get another season out of JD Davison after all. He’s dropping pretty fast. Down to #47 on the draft board now.

FYI: Quinerly is at #41, Ellis is #55

That would be awesome, but i'm still doubtful right now regardless of what any mock draft boards say right now. Was Primo mocked as a lottery pick in January? Honestly don't remember, but I doubt it. Getting JD back for a second season would be great though for sure.

Davidson beats Richmond

Davidson just made a 25 footer to beat Richmond on the road.

They're gonna end up being a 6-7 seed if they keep their pace up.

Even with the black eye from the Missouri loss, we have a damn strong resume. Hope we can just pull our heads out of our asses and start playing to our abilities night in and night out.

Imagine if we find a way to win the Baylor game. Committee won't know how to seed us.

I’d lose at least 3-4 toes for a final appearance. (Not big toes. Would have to start small and work up)

That 4th toe on each foot really doesn’t do anything. I’d definitely give both mine up for a Final 4/Natty appearance

The part that drives me the most crazy is that Auburn has a damn good chance to make another Final 4 and a legit chance to win it all.

Seeing line has jumped to MSU -2 in some places. I know we pulled it out against Fla with similar number, but that line stinks.

Seems to be common knowledge everywhere except this board.
