I have noticed and been talking about Miles passing up too many open threes. He is 35% on the year, second only to Shack.
Miles doesn't necessarily need Shack's green light (where sometimes Shack pulls the trigger even if contested), but if he catches square to the goal with room to step into a three in rhythm with the defense late to close him down, he needs to pull it. Especially if its a look at the top of the key or on the wing and not buried in the corner.
It feels like there are 2 or 3 times per game where he gets such an opportunity and passes it up to pump-fake and put it on the floor.

I mean it's basketball and we have proven we can beat really, really good teams. And, we've proven we can beat really good teams that are long (Gonzaga). So, I openly admit that it would be silly to say "we won't win tonight".

I hate this game is a hangover from the natty. Should be a huge event in itself but can’t help but feel a little deflated. Hopefully the crowd isn’t affected, but energy won’t be what it would’ve had we won last night.

I feel pretty good about it. The disturbing trend of this team is that we play down to our competition. Fortunately, that's not an issue with Auburn.
