Could be part of it. Could also be a difference in testing protocols.

Lots of people with Omicron are having no or very, very minor symptoms. Guy shows up at school A, someone sees him sneeze and hands him a Kleenex. Another guy shows up at school B, someone sees him sneeze and the next thing you know he’s got a Q-tip up his nose and the whole team is on lockdown.

I know fire departments that were quarantining entire shifts a year ago that are now saying if you don’t have a fever, sore throat, or the shaits put a mask on and bring your arse to work. In some of those same big cities they are still sending whole crews home.

Oats yesterday was talking about the same issues with JD as our board.

Said that he felt like the disastrous 8 TOs against Tennessee caused JD to be far too passive against UF, and they are going to have to work with him to find a better balance.

Obviously he has to get the TOs under control, but he can’t become so careful and risk-averse that he renders himself a non-factor for the other defense, either.

As the official Midwest ambassadors for Alabama Athletics, my son and I will be present at the Missouri game today.

Definitely plenty in central Illinois where we live. We just left so it will be a few hours before we’re in Missouri.
