Rojas is gonna get some serious minutes when he comes back, and I am ok with it.

Alright, i'll be the one to say it. Shack wants to play in the NBA, right? His whole goal of entering his name in the draft and then entering the portal was to figure out how to best put himself in position to make the NBA,right?

How about this. How about don't get completely taken out of a game by the fricking Jacksonville State Gamecocks. I mean, an NBA level talent scoring guard isn't going to be gameplanned into a goose egg by a team like this. An NBA level scoring guard is going to have off nights, but he's still going to get buckets, especially against a team like this.

I agree but to his credit he has not forced things to try to get his points.

Took a break from the game at halftime and just came back. Hopefully Hulu won't crap out again.

ETA: Glad to see we've put together a good run here.

Not sure if it's scheme or what but shack is content to stand for the corner 3 today.

Still prefer it over wild drives to the basket

I mean Shack isn't playing in the NBA.

I dunno who honestly thinks he can. I'm glad we tricked him into thinking we could try out best to help him, but he has almost no NBA skill. He's small, not quick, can't defend, doesn't handle the ball.

That's all fine - there are a lot of great college players who can't play in the NBA, but I mean who the hell can't see that? You have to be blind. He can have a good year and make a lot of money in Turkey or Israel if he wants.

Dude. Same thing happened with Memphis.

Teams figure it's the recipe to beat us. Blanket Shack.

Show me a game where he went off and we lost?

I think him scoring a bunch of points his first couple of years got a lot of basketball ignorant people in his life seeing the bag, and they are pushing him to go get it.

The idea that he'd find some program or system that would fix the fact that he's short, slow of foot, a poor defender and not a ball handler.........

Must be one helluva system

And that's not talking bad about Shack. It's just a fact that his physical makeup and skillset isn't gonna play in the NBA.

First game he hasn't forced some shots.

Credit to him for that though fur sure. And credit to him for still being engaged on the defensive end as well when he's clearly struggling on the offensive end.

My biggest issue is that if a team of this caliber can easily take Shack out of a game and drag us down into a competitive game, what's going to happen when better teams continue this trend? Are we just going to have a bunch of replays of the Memphis game?
