Only 10.6k in attendance? My seats are right next to the student section so I get a better atmosphere than most in the arena, but it sure seemed like a lot more people than that and was a helluva lot louder. Last night was really a great atmosphere and one of the better ones I’ve experienced there.

Maybe we can sneak into the top 12 of the NET now? Maybe?

We actually dropped. I have no idea why we are so low

Went to a party last night so I missed the game.

Just watched a 13 minute recap and holy shite.

We need to defend the rim better. Houston got way too many offensive rebounds.

#13 was a demon on the glass

He had NINE offensive rebounds and is averaging seven.

We dropped in NET after a Q1 win?

Honestly the more I see of NET the more I think it's just a different flavor of RPI garbage.

Did we drop because we didn't cover the point spread?
Just guessing.
But, there were some big wins from below us. Ohio State and Arizona

Tenn jumped both us and AU, which makes no sense. Net clearly favors efficiency over quality wins, but it will work itself out over the course of the season. Houston only dropped from 3 to 4 in Net and are still ranked 9 ahead of us.

Yeah, I don’t understand how Houston has no Q1 or Q2 wins and is #4

Maybe it’s because we haven’t played any true road games

I guess because they've beaten a bunch of .500 level teams worse than we've beaten the .800 level teams we've played.

I mean we clearly have a top 5 resumé at this point in the season. Only a handful of teams have 4 Q1/2 wins and I think of those few it's just us and Iowa State who haven't played a Q4 game.

That Houston team is really fricking good. My gosh they are athletic as hell
I'd be amazed if there's a stronger rebounding team in the country than Houston!
Their front court absolutely destroyed our bigs. Their, aggressiveness, hand strength and physicality dominated us off the boards. Their bigs flew to the ball every time a shot was put up, and simply ripped the rebound away from our 4s and 5s. Thank God we had down-court speed that they couldn't handle!
I'd say that BOTH teams took something away from that game that they severely need to work on!.....Houston won't be the last "NBA-style" rebounding front court we'll see.
