Offense has to run through JD though. Shack is a great scorer but he still needs the creativity JD provides.

Not that it matters much, but I don’t think there was much fluky about that at all.
Timme is a pain in the arse to play against, but we have better guards, period. Gonzaga needs those 5 star freshmen guards to step up (Hickman did in the second half).
Bit of a strange thing to say, but it was a quiet 4 blocks for Holmgren. He didn’t really control the paint (although we also just bypassed him by making 13 threes)

Nah we've got Quinn Early. JQ gives defenses a lot of problems every night with his speed and dribbling ability. He hit some clutch shots tonight and his layup game is as good as any guard i can remember, with Releford being the closest.
We can let both of them run the offense at different times and give teams so much pressure. It's not like the days of only having Kira Lewis to run the point.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but my dad texted me the same thing so I wanted to ask.
Did Gonzaga seem really arrogant to yall? In their mannerisms and facial expressions? Especially Timme and Holmgren. I got the distinct impression they didn't think we belonged on the court with them.
Which made this win just a tad bit sweeter. Which was hard to do, was already an incredible win.

Both programs are currently at or near their full potential with their respective regimes. The games have all been fun the last few years.
