Might be time to give JQ a start and see if it might shake things up a bit for him and Bradley (and Sears). I know JQ hasn’t been very good either but maybe give him a start and see if sparks him. Take a little pressure off the freshman Bradley too.

I don't think the Brandon Miller stuff this week is affecting this team's psyche. The guards have been very hit or miss in February. This offense needs them to hit shots at the rim and behind the arc to work and they aren't doing it consistently enough. They're also regressing on defense...probably because they're struggling on offense.

Yeah we have to rely on defense and transition pretty much because right now the offense is bottom tier. There is nothing to rely on if it's not BM

This sucks but it is what it is.
Sears- struggles with athletic defenders, cant finish at the rim
JB- non existent shot outside of layup, dribbles into trouble due to lack of jump shot
JQ- great ball handler good shooter, feels he has to be the hero due to being 6th man and make’s major mistakes
Burnett- should be our starting 2 guard
Welch- flat footed not very athletic wing
Our guards are a major issue when we play athletic teams.
We have been horrible around the rim because of our “finesse” guards. The analytics may show one thing but sometimes you got to go out beat the guy in front of you and that’s what we aren doing.
This is the wrong time of year for our team to begin to fall apart.
Oats has to shake up the starting lineup.

As far as the tourny goes clowney is going to have to flip a switch. We aren't even making it that far unless he gets consistent on the boards and down low. We aren't gonna hit 15 3s every game and need to be able to win a game like this against a better team than Arkansas

If teams are going to do what Arkansas is doing to Brandon Miller, you've got to make their defender on him pay by running him along the baseline and constantly being involved in setting screens for other players. He's really a small forward but his game is more like a guard, so we need to be doing guard like things with him.

Dom Welch shouldn't be on the bench. He needs to be in the game but Coach Oats iced him. Bad coaching decision...

We look like a team with a lot of weight on it....Miller stuff...#2...SEC Regular Season champ....overall #1 seed...just seems like this team is feeling it all

Dude rylan’s been struggling just as bad as our guards in this funk and can’t dribble worth a flip when pressured

Even if we lose, that’s 5 losses beginning the month of MARCH!! We’re definitively hitting a bit of a Feb slump, but we have to remember we have freshmen playing over 30 games of college basketball. They need to catch their 2nd wind in March and be back on point for Tourney time. This is a grind and everyone is being physical with them, including SC. I’m not going to freak out about a regular season game that Arkansas had much higher motivation to win.

Exactly! I never said he should be the ball handler. I think JQ gives us the best chance to win today unless Bradley starts taking floaters in the lane.
