The Alabama basketball twitter account should stop being such pathetic cowards and tweet about Brandon's historic performance tonight. 41.
He literally had zero highlights shown on Bama’s fb story too. I’m honestly starting to get pissed off now

It is a prudent move to avoid it tonight. Give it a week and this will blow over. ESPN can milk interest in it for a few days. They risk alienating a business partner by browbeating said partner’s best team for weeks.

He already is...
What they just had yesterday was an evidentiary type hearing. All evidence has been giving by the DA there's nothing else.
Brandon Miller had a video clarifying the situation along with other witnesses who could vouch for him.

Tuscaloosa police department needs to hold a press conference outlining and clarifying the details of Brandon's situation as to why he's innocent of charges. If he's innocent like they claim, they need to lay out why publicly and shut this shite down.
I think this would do more harm than good. They already cleared him. Doing more would just give the people who want to believe he’s guilty more fuel to say there’s some conspiracy.

If the national media starts to say there's a conspiracy going on, they'll likely have to address it.

I will say that the color guy on the game was fair. He actually stated that there had been a lot of disinformation on social media and other media outlets in the last 24 hrs regarding this case.

We certainly are in an age of narrative pushing on steroids. So, none of this is unexpected.
Do yourself a giant favor and from now on only watch ESPN programming for live sporting events. Absolutely nothing else.
Regardless of the media outlet, live games are pretty much all I watch. I'm not interested in talking heads' opinions.

No. 2/2 Alabama Slips Past South Carolina in Overtime, 78-76
Brandon Miller scores a career-high 41 points as the Crimson Tide improves to 14-1 in SEC play
Freshman Brandon Miller went for a career-high 41 points and hit the game-winning basket in the final seconds to lead the No. 2/2 Alabama men's basketball team past South Carolina in overtime, 78-76, Wednesday night in Colonial Life Arena. With the win, the Crimson Tide improves to 24-4 on the year and maintains its grip on first place in the Southeastern Conference at 14-1.
Miller dominated throughout the night, hitting career-bests of 14-of-25 shots from the field, including hitting 6-of-13 from beyond the arc, to go along with eight rebounds, three steals and a pair of blocks in 43 minutes of action on the night. He also hit the basket in the final seconds of regulation to send the game to overtime, while his game winning basket came with nine-tenths of a second remaining on the game clock.
Charles Bediako was the only other UA player to reach double figures, finishing with 10 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots. Noah Clowney finished with eight points and eight rebounds, while Mark Sears added eight points in the win.
The Crimson Tide trailed by five points with just over three minutes remaining in regulation but outscored the Gamecocks 9-4 the rest of the way to force overtime. Miller scored six of UA's 10 points to secure the victory.
South Carolina (10-18, 3-12) was led by GG Jackson's 19 points, while Meechi Johnson and Jacobi Wright added 18 apiece in the losing effort.
HEAD COACH NATE OATS POSTGAME COMMENTS
"That was quite a game but before we get into the game, I want to address yesterday's press conference and my response to the Brandon Miller question. I am not here to make excuses, but I want to make it clear I didn't have the details that morning, since I was coming straight from practice. I used a poor choice of words, making it appear that I wasn't taking this tragic situation seriously, which we have throughout the course of it. I sincerely apologize for that, I know Greg shared some information earlier today on the situation and I really don't have anything more to add, other than what he has already shared."

They both did a great job. Seth kept it respectful and the Play-By-Play guy was the one that mentioned the disinformation.
Fast-forward to after the game and the lynch mob crew were out for blood. They didn't even read the part of the release that cleared Miller's name the most. Really weird and unprofessional.
