I want a 37 point win over Auburn to make them start shitting their pants about making the tournament.

I want it.

Make that shite happen.

SEC sucks but we bear Houston at Houston. Rocky Top beat Kansas at home by 14.

Mizzou beat Iowa St. and Miss St. beat TCU, along with Tenn. beating Texas.

There are some bad teams in the SEC this year, but a full strength Arkansas can beat anyone and UK can still present matchup problems for folks. Nobody wants a piece of Texas A&M right now either.

According to Torvik if they didn’t lose to Grambling they would be Next 4 out right now

SEC has some food OOC wins
Alabama over Houston, Michigan State
Tennessee over Arizona and Kansas, Texas
Miss St over Marquette and TCU
Arkansas over St Marys and San Diego State
Mizzou over Iowa St.
I’m sure I’m forgetting some.

Tennessee might have the best wins of anyone. 4 top 10 wins in Alabama, Kansas, Arizona, Texas.
They also have some head scratching losses.

I know we will in the tournament. For some reason I think they'll try and screw us and put that type of team in our path.
I agree that the SEC office does not seem friendly towards Alabama but the bracket is set in stone based on conf records and tie-breakers. I.e., there's nothing anyone can do to hurt a team.

quote:

In the end of we hit FTs we would still be on a one or two possession game. The problem is we miss FTs

Alabama is a decent-good FT shooting team, especially in closer games. Was 16-20, 80% vs UT in Knoxville. Bradley's FT shooting has inexplicitly dropped off recently, but other than that and the consistently bad FT shooting of Bediako and Pringle, with Clowney improving, the team has been pretty good, especially when it has mattered late in games, which has not been often, since few games have been close at the end. Only NC, Houston, Memphis and MSU at home have been within 8 points.

JQ, Sears and Miller are 80+% FT shooters
Griffen, Gurley, Burnett, Welch and even Bradley with his recent struggles are 70+% FT shooters.
Clowney is 63.1% shooter but has improved dramatically of late. Even when he was bad at ~40+%, he hit some big FTs late in a game, IIRC.

It’s certainly possible with how we shoot at home. Also if A&M drops another game and we win our next 2 games that home game against Auburn could be to clinch the SEC crown...now that would be sweet.

Thats right, it was last year they beat Arizona.

So they have 3 too 10 wins, Kansas, Alabama, and Texas and two were at home.

Yea this idea that the SEC is bad is ridiculous. Kentucky and Arkansas’ inconsistency is what hurts the league but overall this conference is very tough.

Is it the best league? Definitely not...but overall it’s a deep, solid conf.

We’re probably the second best conference this year with big12 being first, but somehow the big10 is projected to get the most bids as usual somehow.
