Anyone else thinks Burnett will be put back into the starting lineup next game? It sure looks like he is back.

I hope He's able to come back to the starting lineup. He brings much needed shooting and defense. Bradley, JQ and Griffen would be a great second unit backcourt.

started watching the game when it was Vandy 5-0
Pretty wild that they jumped out with those five at 18:19 on the clock (0-5), and still had that same five at 9:27 (21-5).
At some point the people around me started politely clapping whenever Vandy scored, just because it was getting so sad.

Oh what a night! Can’t remember where I heard it (and haven’t fact checked it) but heard that Bama has had 6 100+ point games in the 4 years since Oats arrived and the rest of the SEC has combined for 7 during that same span. The only ‘damper’ for me was the crowd was a bit underwhelming (including the students). Would have loved to have seen the place packed out, but I get that the tip off time, weather and life all get in the way. Incredible bounce back and am happy to have witnessed history in the making. Roll Tide!

Last night was fun, but I wish Dom and Chuck would have hit a 3P like all of the other regulars. It literally means nothing, but it would have been cool.

No. 4/5 Alabama Routs Vanderbilt 101-44 in Largest SEC Victory in Program History
The No. 4/5 Alabama men's basketball team recorded its largest SEC win in program history with a dominant 101-44 victory over Vanderbilt Tuesday night inside Coleman Coliseum. With the 57-point win, the Tide improved to 9-0 in conference play, 19-3 overall and 11-0 when playing in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama was dominant on both ends of the court in the opening period, taking a 43-15 lead heading into halftime. Vanderbilt (10-12, 3-6 SEC) opened the game by scoring the game's first five points, but the Tide responded by scoring 21 consecutive points to take control of the game.
The Tide shot 59 percent (36-61) from the field and 46 percent (19-41) from the field while holding the Commodores to just 25 percent (16-64 from the floor and 15 percent (3-30) from deep.
The Tide had five players score in double figures, led by Brandon Miller with 22, his eighth time surpassing the 20-point mark in a game this season. Nimari Burnett (16), Rylan Griffen (12), Noah Gurley (11) and Charles Bediako (10) joined Miller in leading the offensive effort.
HEAD COACH NATE OATS POSTGAME COMMENTS
"I thought our guys answered the bell after the Oklahoma game – it was a great way to respond. I was expecting a lot from us. It was just unfortunate for them that they were the team that followed the Oklahoma game. I told our guys we've kind of shown who we are and I think we're a tough, hard-nosed, blue collar, gritty team. Vanderbilt's tough, we showed a little highlight of Vanderbilt's tough plays before the game, like this is a game where we're going to try to be the tougher team. I think our guys answered the bell. They get the message. They really coached each other over the last three days, to be honest, they're a great group that kind of talked amongst themselves. This is who we want to be, this is what we got to do to get better. They did just about all that tonight. We were obviously aided by good shooting night and they didn't shoot it well, which happens. And I think for the most part we played pretty hard and locked into the defensive end tonight. So, it's good to see the improvement."

This is really a great sign, and a big reason why the meltdown over the OU game was so premature. Nothing about this group of players has ever suggested immaturity or a lack of mental toughness. It was a trainwreck of a game, but those happen. They could have either let it get to them or approach it as a learning experience and use it to get better. So far they seem to have taken the latter approach.

I don't think Dom had a particularly good game last night (and he may have been the only one), but something about the way he looked was an overall improvement to me.
He just appeared to be getting around quicker and seemed more in shape, if that makes sense.
Hopefully he's continuing to get better. The depth on this team is ridiculous.

I want sole SEC Champion status. Assuming we go 16-2 or 15-3 in conference, I'm optimistic that this schedule can squeeze 2 more losses out of Tennessee

Seeing these stats reminds me — have y'all found anywhere to get good PPP numbers this season?
That's become one of my go-to metrics and I've been having trouble finding it lately.
(My usual sites don't show PPP or +/- anymore for some reason.)

I think Torvik has them if you go to the team page. It's labeled efficiency but I'm pretty sure it's PPP. They then have an adjusted efficiency number that basically compared your result vs that team to their average.
Yesterday it had us at 144.4 (1.444) and Vandy at 62.9 (0.629) efficiency. Pretty sure that's PPP.

Thanks; looks like it. The official box score shows close to the same (at the bottom right):
I used to enjoy tracking these stats during the game, but it seems it's only posted afterwards now, and this screenshot was from a PDF.
I'll give Torvik a shot.

You can download a chrome extension called ESPN Tempo Free Box that, if you have the ESPN game tracker page up in chrome, turns the box score box up top into an advanced stat box that updates when the ESPN box score updates during the game automatically. It's pretty cool.
