Not often. Cason Wallace and Jabob Toppin may both be out and they're arguably 2 of Kentuckys best 3 players.

Glad that Oats mentioned some defenses playing not playing off Miller to help.

Most teams need their top scorer to score consistently. This team has the benefit of always having a lot more true scorers on the floor than you usually see in college ball.

Playing basically 4v4 against our style plays right into our hands even if a team keeps Miller in check.

And on the box score for the UK game attendance is listed as 13,474

With a seating capacity of 15,383 would mean there were 2000 empty seats. I wasn't there but sure didn't look like any where near that many on TV.

I was thinking it should be like 12 (?) but when everyone you play is gonna get it, they gotta raise it.

It'll be amped up tomorrow in Coleman.

We’re #1 in strength of schedule in the KenPom rankings, Houston is 153rd.

We beat ‘em.

Why are they #1 in the country and we’re 5th?

Thats max capacity with seats added around the court. Hard seating is 14,474. Still a lot of empty seats, but if spread out, not that noticeable.

Some random thoughts about a couple of games on tonight:

Watching what Villanova has immediately become after he retired, Jay Wright was somehow underrated.

Matthew Mayer looks like a guy who sells shitty weed and Xanax out of his trailer.

Every time I see a player take a mid-range shot it makes me want to yell at the TV even though I don't give a shite about any of these teams. Thanks for that Nate.

Seeing Tennessee and Houston ranked above us after playing weak arse schedules so far is rough. Arkansas was ranked ahead of us for a long time and had one of the weakest ooc schedules in the country. Hopefully it will pay off come tournament time. We have been tested for sure.

If "experts" were asked at the beginning of the season to pick the only 10 teams that would be undefeated at this point in their respective major conferences, how many would have gotten even half of these?

I think it has to. Current polls are media dipshits but the tournament committee will look at a lot more metrics, including quality wins. Regardless, we just scrubbed the ground with Arky and UK. We're gonna continue to do stuff like that and it will sort itself out.
