I am ready for Chris to get to make the call for a trip to the Final Four. Especially if it's a buzzer beater.

I see gonzaga played Santa Clara, who has a Jaden Bediako. He's from Ontario, wonder if he's related to Charles.

As was said in the other thread by the normally super exuberant but in this case completely on the nose Crimson Fever - this team is a legitimate national title contender.
We have all the things that make a team as tournament trap proof as you can have, and they have also shown they can beat the best teams in the country. It's a legitimate goal at this point.

I guess I owe folks an apology. I said yesterday that we would win by 7. I was more than 100% off. George, give me the actual percentage ??.

Win a road game over #16 in the NET by 15 points and..............no movement in the NET. Stay the same.

So, I decided to pop over to Hogville, which is like their TideFans. So definitely grain take it with a grain of salt. But i love a good melt. So here's a few gems from there...
And then...
Those 3's and turnovers were beautiful.
And now they're mad...
In the former Arkansas women's basketball coach who lives in Fayetteville...
And we think the FOGs are bad...
Hehe... So am I.
And one last bitch about Nick Smith...
quote:
Personally, I thought Bama looked tougher last year.
quote:
They are well coached. They know we are a terrible defensive team. Why play man if you can't stop the ball on the drive? Something you learn in elementary school. Stop the man driving the ball. Ridiculous

I can tell that the officials are not wanting to draw attention to themselves and be a deciding factor early. But they have talked and scolded and tried to be stern but it hasn't really stopped the physicality of Bama...tee their asses up
quote:
The fix is in...
quote:
Surely Bama will choke these last 7 minutes.
And then...
quote:
What the heck just happened?
quote:
Dang - this thing has turned around in a blink of an eye.
quote:
That's the fastest dagger I've ever seen. 3 Bama 3's and consecutive turnovers and game over.
Those 3's and turnovers were beautiful.
And now they're mad...
quote:
the better team got some extremely questionable calls and got away w 3 technicals meaning the worse teams big second half run cut it to four instead of being up 8.
quote:
If one of our players had run down to the Bama bench mouthing he would have gotten a double tech and suspension
quote:
Miller's got a mouth on him.
In the former Arkansas women's basketball coach who lives in Fayetteville...
quote:
Dykes is such a clown. He sounds like an Alabama hype man half the time. I wish he would NEVER step foot in our arena again.
And we think the FOGs are bad...
quote:
There isn't NBA talent on this team tonight. Even Black or Walsh. There is ALOT of work to be done. If they don't hit the portal next year. I'm not committed to any of these kids anymore. One and done doesn't mean straight to the league anymore.
Lots of work to do.
quote:
When Muss leaves and he will.
I won't miss him.
Sick of his coaching. Sick of his stubbornness.
quote:
Sure glad those 2 5 star recruits we have at the game are watching Bama destroy a team with no offense
Hehe... So am I.
And one last bitch about Nick Smith...
quote:
During nut cuttin' time, their elite freshman bowed up and showed some balls, and ours is sitting in LA with LeBron and Rich Paul. That's the difference.

Kansas and Purdue have equal or better looking resumés than ours so I don't have a problem there, but Houston, UTk, and UConn are being carried heavily by their efficiency numbers at this point. They are all great teams, but Houston has played a ton of awful opponents, UTk has only played a few good opponents, and UConn can't win on the road against good teams.

I was thinking he'd be more along the lines of Shack with a better handle. I did not think he'd be nearly this good at getting into the lane and scoring around the basket in half court sets against this level of competition. He's incredibly crafty in the paint.
Mighty Mouse isn't scared of contact. He's strong as hell for his size. Shack was soft as Charmin with a Dad that acts like a pageant mother. That's why this team is so damn good, lack of egos and guys playing for the scouts not the win.

This is just ignorant nonsense. Arkansas is a really good defensive team that is iffy on offense because they don't have any shooters to spread out the defense.

Dykes is such a clown. He sounds like an Alabama hype man half the time. I wish he would NEVER step foot in our arena again.
Did they get Dykes and Bilas confused? Because Bilas was hyping us up a lot for sure, but it was almost all in response to Dykes being an unprofessional hack who was constantly shitting on our players and openly cheering for Arkansas.
