When we opened the game at Missouri last year in zone, that was the worst display of defense I’d ever seen

There were a lot of games last year that seemed to be the worst display of defense we’ve ever seen.

True but we made a Cuonzo team look great on offense. That’s unforgivable.

Sears played amazingly yesterday. He has two years of eligibility left after this one too. The future is bright with Him and Bradley at PG.

That was the best JQ has looked since he came back, very good sign for us going forward.

I think he was POTY for South Carolina

Was Clowney picked over Jackson at South Carolina for player of the year? Jackson was #1 rated recruit.

Love it.

I've also been hurt so many times, I don't know if I can do this to myself.

What seed would guarantee Alabama plays opening round games in Birmingham? 4 seed or better right?

Do not want to be #1 headed into Arky. Top 5 is just fine.

If they want to give us #1 after that, I’ll take it. We should beat LSU at home and Vandy on the road even if they are hyped up to play #1.

The number of ranked teams that have lost recently is pretty remarkable. I know it happens regularly, but seemed to be a higher frequency this week than most.

Not sure exactly, but I would think 2 seed and higher definitely puts us in Bham. If 3 or 4, I don’t think they will want to send a 1 or 2 seed to Birmingham knowing most Bama fans would be pulling for the upset. That wouldn’t be very fair to a seed ranked better than us.

Good point. Have never really read up on the intricacies of pod seeding/location as it relates to potentially helping a 3/4 seed and hurting a 1/2 seed even though they obviously would not play each other at that venue.

If you're just in the mood to see Auburn lose to Alabama, the ladies are beating the everloving shait out of them on the SEC Network right now.

66-39 with 2 minutes left in the 3Q.

ETA - and it's in Auburn.

Women playing their best game of the season today. Maybe the heartbreaking loss to Mizzou sparked something.

This team is good enough to make the tourney. Not saying they will, but they should.
