I knew we would come out a little lackadaisical. We won the game and that's all what matters.

If Clowney plays I feel pretty good about winning in Starkville. Their offense is putrid.

That being said, we all know it’ll be arse-clinchingly close to the final whistle

Another bad night for the conference. State, Ole Miss, and A&M all with losses to mid-majors.

watched Miles knock down threes early on one season and I thought he was going to be special. I was definitely wrong.

He drives me nuts, because with his size and skill set, his ceiling is immense. But he plays like a dumbass, and doesn't care to fix it. He could be the best player on our team, or even in the NBA already, but instead limits his own future by not applying himself.

I think a lot of our turnovers are due to guys getting way out of position, along with being wild with the ball. The amount of times we’ve been caught in a corner with no outlet pass option is too high.

Miller had another 5 tonight, after tonight I believe he will overtake JQ in averaging the most per game (he plays more minutes though)m

it was equal between JQ, miller, and Sears

The minutes matter. He’s one of the best on the team in turnovers per 100 possessions, at 3.7. Quinerly and Miles are averaging 2 and 3 times as many.

Wouldn’t have added it if it didn’t, each turnover contributes to the total number per game equally too.

We need to fix 2 simple things to make a run this season.

Defense and turnovers, easy peasy

absolutely, stopping a good team like Gonzaga is difficult enough without a boat load of these. This team can beat anybody playing the way we have been. cut the turnovers in half and I feel confident against anybody anywhere

We are 21st in adjusted defense, we haven't been terrible outside of the Gonzaga game. We should be top 10 with the length and athleticism we have, we were 13th in adjusted D when Nimari got hurt. I think we will finish with a top 15 D, possibly top 10, but we do need to clean a lot of stuff up.

Our defense after a made basket is frustratingly bad,
so many times after we make a basket the other team inbounds it, passes it downcourt and scores before you can even blink. Memphis did that to us all game and the teams we have played since then saw how well that worked vs us and have been successfully doing it too.

Our guys score a basket and stand around celebrating instead of getting back on defense.

They'll probably still be ranked in the top 25 when we play them.

It's a Q3 loss, so yes it is.

This year? Maybe? Before tonight they'd play 3 teams in the Top 125 and lost all 3 (Indiana St, Richmond, Saint Louis). Their best win was LaLa or Wyoming.

It's not a horrible loss but it's not a great one.
