I hope Welch is our savior. Our guards have been pathetic. Without Clowney we have no offensive low post threat. I’m gonna lose it if Gurley hits the side of someone’s head with those bricks he throws up.

It's not Coleman Coliseum...We should've BEAT Gonzaga Saturday then the place would of been 75-80% packed tonight but what we do... CHOKED UNDER PRESSURE (COACHING MAINLY).
I said the other day that we are gonna have to BRING OUR OWN ENERGY.

Just got home and checked the score. What the hell is going on? This team is 1-10 in the SWAC.

It's just the DNA of the program. I don't think it will ever really change. We're obviously better now than we have been in a really long time, but we're always going to pull this crap several times every season no matter who is in charge or who the players are.
While this is totally unacceptable and embarrassing, only the elite of the elite teams avoid letdowns in CBB throughout a whole year. Typically those teams are very strong fundamentally, chalk full of veterans, and are very capable to adjust to the game flow both offensively and defensively (post up more one game vs. shoot more open 3s the next, can use zone if needed or adjust to take away what the other team is doing and force them to beat you with their option b, c, or even d).
We are not that team. This team is clearly going to have growing pains. My hope is we don’t get in a negative spiral of confidence and mentality, and that they learn quickly that if you show up unprepared in conference play, you will lose…even to bad teams.
Anybody who expected us to run away with this game by 30 was fooling themselves. That said, I did think we’d be up closer to 10 points at halftime.

You aren't going to keep winning games if you consistently turn the ball over the way we do and can't turn over the other time. It's just a numbers game at some point.

I’m at a work Christmas party. Are we melting?

Against a team that is among the worst in the country in turning opponents over.
We commit more unforced turnovers than any team I've ever seen in my life.

We look like almost every game from last season against a team that we didn't decide to show up for.

Almost none of them have anything to do with the defender! It's mind numbing!

Burnett going down, again, is going to frick our season up, again. We have been absolutely putrid defensively without him.

This game looks much like the game vs Jax State this time last year. Bama has a great group of athletes trying to play basketball.

What the hell is UConn doing?

Our guards & bigs see guys to late...they'll be open but then they will over dribble or do something crazy.

I don't think that's it at all. I just think we showed up after a long stretch of hard games, saw a 1-10 team on the schedule, decided we'd coast and all of a sudden whoopsies.
Athletes trying to play basketball was the Grant era. We have dudes who can play basketball (the finer parts, like shoot), they're just not doing it very well right now.

Turnovers are killing our team.
