Looks like this is the last year of the B12/SEC Challenge.

Starting next year, there will be an ACC/SEC Challenge.

He still does some (a lot?) crazy stuff, but Gurley’s shot looks much better this year. Looked sort of broken last year.

gurley doomers kinda sorta trying to save face now with some nonsense. absolutely adorable.

I’m still mad at Nate for not getting the ball to Sears more in the OTs.

He airballed 2 shots in a row, a 3 pointer and a floater in the lane. I think his legs were gone.

Anyone think Q should come off the bench? Dude is out here acting like he needs to match the usage of Luka.

Sears and Bradley should be able to handle the job and Bradley has a chance to developer into a REALLY good player this season. I don’t think it would even hurt the team if JQ left the team. His decision making and absolutely terrible finishing around the rim was killing the team.

I saw Miller was catching hell in here but Alabama NEEDS him if they’re going to reach their goals. I do not think the team needs JQ to get to where they want to go.

Bring him off the bench for a spark until he can quit the bullshite.

He's still the biggest liability on the team. I'm glad he's made a few shots lately, but his defense and rebounding are still atrocious, and he turns it over every time he dribbles.

The offense is MUCH better when he plays. He's the only guy that has consistently drawn the defense, and kicked out to shooters. Yes, he needs to cut down on his turnovers. But, he can beat anyone off the dribble, and he's one of our best shooters too.

Even though he makes a lot of boneheaded decisions we still need him. He's our best facilitator and his three point shooting is needed for floor spacing. He's a very frustrating player but we don't win Sunday night if he didn't play.

He is just getting back (early I might add) from ACL surgery. They ALL make bad decisions at times , but we are better with him for sure . He can get hot for stretches too

Alabama needs Miller to be productive. Him dribbling into the lane and trying to get a contested bucket is not productive. He's 18/55 (33%) from inside the arc, compared to 24/50 (48%) from outside. His 2P FG% is the lowest on the team, and the only other player with a 2P FG% under 40% is JQ (35%).

It's still early but statistically JQ and Miller shooting in the lane are among our worst options offensively.

nah, his per 40 and per 100 are about as solid as one could hope for from a backup college big. easily starter level with minutes. yes the higher than average TO rate can be annoying but hes a guy that always plays his arse off and will even win a couple games for us, just as he did last season. sure he wasnt able to bailout our guards last season from their horrible D as an undersized center, but id say this season his D is way down the list as far as our biggest issues so far in this one.
