WV is going to set those traps on our high ball screens. They won't do it every time, so, our guys can't fall asleep.

Isn't that similar to what UConn did to us? Seems like we've played a few teams since that have tried it unsuccessfully.

But when you do figure out how to play their press, there will be a lot of open looks or lanes.

Edey for Purdue is just such an insane match up. That would be a brutal game to play. He's a freak.

Bediako was his backup on the Canadian team. So he's probably played against him more than anyone in college. Both also went to school at IMG Academy. But I'm not sure if they were on the same team, since Edey is a year older.

They did and yes, it helped us prepare for some of the SEC teams that tried it. We've handled it much better since UCONN.

Virginia also has a guy out for the year that played 25 minutes and scored 7 points a game on average for them

It's Ben Vander Plas and he was a very key piece for their team. It was a big loss for them.

If I remember, we actually punished teams that did it. I remember forcing a few teams to switch it up because it led to runs.

Might be wrong, but just don't see them making it to play Bama. I've got Duke knocking them out. Duke starts 2 seven footers and both can pull Edey out on the perimeter.

My final 4

Bama
Duke
Houston
Gonzaga

I just want to finally make a Final Four... anything else would be gravy. Long way to go, but Arizona looms large.

If Maryland can get the 4th foul on Johnson for WV soon, they'll open up a lead. He's the only guy scoring for WV.

WV just has to weather the next drought they have and they may take it.

I hope if we get off to a slow start like Kansas, that this board doesn’t start freaking out

I personally don’t think these teams can score with us, but who knows. They’re both physical teams, which presents challenges. Many of y’all know a lot more about the X’s and O’s of basketball than me, though.

Either one of them can get it. Having fun watching them though.

Who did we want? I figured that WVU was the better matchup because of better coach.
