Games like this are hell on my liver!
Great win given the style of play. We win very few games of this type. Good to see the toughness and good to prove Sir Charles wrong again!

The interior post defense situation against UNC is gonna be a very difficult ask against a very experienced and tough post up guy in Bacot.

Yea, I don't have a ton of confidence in our Fwds for this game. We will need to have another gritty game.

I'm more worried about RJ Davis than Bacot.

We 100% cannot afford for RJ Davis to have a big game because you can sorta expect that Bacot is going to have 15+ rebounds and probably 20+ points.

The player I am paying attention to is Harrison Ingram.

Im sure this sentiment is shared and has been posted but I just knew we were going to blow that game. I saw the slow death coming.

But man those dudes fought hard at the end. That's the kind of grit you need to win games in the tournament. Auburn didn't have that grit, that is for sure. These Cinderella contenders are so tough, and we smothered them in the end final 2-3 minutes.

Proud of this team.

Yep, in the grant years we would play a tough game we shouldn’t win, just to blow it at the end. Every freaking time

You think Griffen can handle him? I do.

Davis is a handful though.
Experienced. Physical. He's the key. Last three games he's gone 30, 22, 20 pts.

Grant and Johnson programs each had that problem. We were an elite basketball team if only the game was 35 minutes.

We didn't clutch-it in the under-5 against Vols last month but generally Oats teams do MUCH better at playing well in clutch time. I still never expect it because all those late Gottfried, Grant, and Johnson years until Oats got it rolling has negatively conditioned me as a fan.

Very proud of this team. Sometimes we needlessly make it difficult on us.
We had very poor shooting and then the Wrightsell injury. Rylen didn’t score in the 2nd half and everyone else barring Sears was extremely bad. Yet we found a way. Pringle was dialed in today, he can be so good in the mood. No clue what’s up with Nelson, maybe he’ll show up next game. What a game for the freshman Mo; rebounding, defending and timely shooting; cannot believe he made 3 straight FTs under tremendous pressure. That’s a sign of a great player. Hope he stays 2 more years.
It would be fantastic to take down UNC but not counting on it. Get ready for our players fouling out and lopsided FTs for them.
Cannot figure out if we are terrible foulers or it’s the refs? It’s happened to us too many times.

Our guys will get to hear until Thursday how bad their asses are going to be beat. If I’m Nate now is the time to turn it on and let them simmer. Low heat simmer. Have them good and pissed off by the game.

Pringle has to play limited minutes because he's a fouling machine
