Wow. South Alabama blew a 2nd half lead. Tied it to go to OT. Got down by 7 with like 3:00 left in OT…and came back and won 80-79…
AND I frickING JINXED IT. They put 1.0 seconds back on the clock and Nichols tied it to send it to a 2nd OT
And Nichols wins in 3OT. I jinxed South

fwiw the '56-57 team that keeps getting mentioned scored 100+ in their first four games, 109 points in game 4 but it was Jax St, Bham Southern, Eastern Ken and Howard as opponents.
They lost 4 of 5 after that. Finished 15-11.
The only thing better than LSU blowing a huge lead late yesterday is them losing again today before noon.

So you're saying we should stop at 99 tonight? I'm good with that.
I did not see the final play live, but I saw the replay last night during halftime of some game. I think that may have been, given the situation, the single worst defensive effort I have ever seen from a basketball team. Might as well have been 5 traffic cones out there. Multiple guys just kinda standing around looking at each other confused about what to do while Dayton is literally running a play. If their fans weren't such trashy, classless fricks I'd almost feel sorry for them having to endure a significantly worse team than any of the shite we had for that stretch of amazingly consistent mediocrity from late stage Gottfried through Avery.

This is crazy to me, but surely no one else in the top 10 has shot the volume we have.

As of right now Bama is 3rd in 3 point %. 4 teams are shooting 50% or better and Bama has attempted the 3rd most out of those 4 teams.
Bama has attempted 69 while UNCW and Miami have attempted 73 and 70 respectively. Everyone has 3 games under their belt
