UNC is a good team but they can be beaten.

Stevenson vs. UNC is pretty interesting.
UNC fans are still criticizing Stevenson after he committed to Bama. Perhaps they will criticize Stevenson until he retires from basketball.

GCU is going to be tough I think...they aren't huge in the front court but they seem to have good athleticism.
As I've said many times: our path forward is through offensive efficiency. Our guys play better on defense when they are in an offensive rhythm.

Defense?
Look the only way we get past GCU is outscoring them. Same for everybody else.

Yep, our best defense is just swamping teams with high-paced, efficient offense.

Agreed. Our best defense is putting the ball through the opposing team's basket.

We should have a starting 5 next year just like we should have had one this year

Bingo on Bama.
Side note
Tennessee is screwing around a bit too much.

Ugly game, Texas in bonus with 10 min left while only having 2 fouls

Texas with a terrible look there. Forced 3? Made no sense

The rebounding was baffling because it wasn't like CoC had significant size. Their guards and wings were just swarming the boards like gnats and Nelson was not being decisive and stabbing those things out of the air or redirecting them to a teammate.
The rebounding was frustrating but Charleston also paid for crashing the offensive boards so hard. Sure they got too many second chances but Alabama also torched them on fast break points because of their over aggressiveness crashing the boards (might have been Alabama’s most fast break points all year). There is always a little more to the story.
But I will say our big men have below average hands. We fumble interior passes and rebounds A LOT. Been a problem all year.

Dusty May to Michigan. Good hire for them.

When Tyon Grant-Foster was 19 y/o and a Freshman, Stevenson was 13 y/o and a 7th grade student.
Due to the COVID and redshirts, there is a 5-6 year age difference even in the college league, not the professional league.

I would be really proud if this team if they make the Sweet 16. Anything else is just icing on the cake for me.
