Griffin is 37.5% from 3s this year

and he's only under 40% because of the last 2 games. Dude is an excellent shooter.

edit: I got bamboozled. those posts were from last year. Pay attention when clicking the replied to links.

So who do we go for tonight Tennessee or Auburn? I’m selfishly rooting Tennessee because I hate the auburn fans pretending they care about basketball. They could never pack out Beard-Eaves and now they think they’re Duke or UCLA.

I actually think we need Tenn to win. Aub isn't losing their last 3 games (MSU, @ Miz, UGa).

Assuming we win tonight —

If Alabama beats Tennessee and wins-out otherwise, we win the SEC. If we lose to Florida, we probably get a share of the title with Tennessee.

If Alabama loses to Tennessee and Tennessee beats Auburn, Tennessee probably wins the SEC.

If Alabama loses to Tennessee and Auburn beats Tennessee, all three of us could get a share of title, with Auburn getting the SECT #1 seed in a tiebreaker.

All that said, if we just keep winning we control our own destiny anyway, so it really doesn't matter, I guess.

Here's a website where you can play with potential outcomes.

ETA: Above I'm making a lot of assumptions about teams winning out. Tennessee obviously has the most difficult path, and Auburn has the easiest.

Best scenario right now for us is Tennessee beating Auburn, and then 1) Alabama beating Tennessee or 2) Alabama beating Florida while Tennessee drops games against both South Carolina and Kentucky.

This will all probably change in a few hours.

Given Auburn's very easy schedule the last 3 games, I think Alabama's best path is for UT to beat Auburn and for Alabama to beat UT Saturday. Benefit of likely knocking Auburn out of contention and likely doing no worse than a split with Tennessee with a decent chance of winning outright.

Obviously have to win tonight to set all that up though.

Based on what I’ve looked at…

3 way Tie- Auburn is champs

Alabama/Auburn tie- Alabama is
Champs

Alabama/Tenn tie- Tennessee is champs

Key is to be in top 4 to get a bye in the SEC tournament until Friday. Then to win enough to maintain the good seeding in NCAA

There’s no tiebreaker scenarios for the regular season crown. If you tie, you get a share.

It only impacts seeding.

Yeah but I’ve always recognized the 1 seed in Nashville as the SEC champs

If Wrightsell ain't playing I may not even watch.

He is key for a victory. Same for Sears, Nelson and Rylan. Every other player for me isn't do or die.

Wrightsell must have nearly died if he's still not back.

Has there ever been a foul called on Auburn that they don't cry to the refs about? Good lord.
