For the first time since 2007, Alabama and Florida will face off in an AP Top-25 matchup as No. 15/15 Alabama hosts No. 24/RV Florida Wednesday night at Coleman Coliseum. The Crimson Tide enter the game on a 15-game winning streak at home against Southeastern Conference opponents.

The matchup features two of the best offenses in the country as the Crimson Tide is scoring 90.7 points per game, which ranks No. 1 in the country, and the Gators average 84.8 points per contest (No. 9). Alabama has been exceptional on offense the last two games, converting 36 three-pointers while shooting 42.3 percent from beyond the arc.

The Broadcast
Wednesday's game is set for a 6 p.m. CT tipoff and will air on ESPN2 with Tom Hart (play-by-play) and Jimmy Dykes (analyst) on the call.

The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play), Bryan Passink (analyst) and Roger Hoover (sideline) on the call, while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.

I would be a bit irritated if we lost Walters or Stevenson to the portal. Dioubate too, but less so because we don't know if he will ever develop an outside shot. A lot will be determined by what Nelson, Sears, and Wrightsell do with their last year of eligibility. If all of them come back it could definitely prompt a couple of guys who are only getting bench minutes to look for bigger roles elsewhere. I would be a little surprised if more than 1 of Cosby, Parker, Wague, and Pringle return. They'll probably all portal out though, but should be easy enough to replace.

Give me those dudes over Jay Williams any day. He's easily hateable, even by Duke standards.

Jimmy Dykes has been giving us a lot of praise lately. I dont mind him as long as we’re not playing Arkansas.

In a vacuum I agree with you. Jay Williams is objectively worse than Jimmy Dykes. But we have to listen to Jimmy Dykes a lot more. I'm just sick of constantly hearing about Arkansas and I'm sick of him always feeling the need to pick apart the games of our POTY candidates while dickriding bums like Devo Davis and Trae Hannibal. It's the same song and dance every single game. Give me literally any other terrible announcer shtick at this point. I don't care what it is. I just want some variety.

Nate Oats was asked about Alabama's shot chart against Texas A&M, and he said he hadn't seen it.

"So every shot was either a 3 or inside the paint? Perfect."

The shot chart in question:

It definitely won’t last 2 minutes into the 2nd half but Mizzou is up 3 on UT at the break.

Losing to Arkansas is bad enough. Losing to Arkansas with Jimmy Dykes on the call would be suicide inducing

This would be something cool to look deeper into. 7 is a fricking ton of transfers. That's a ton of guys to teach a system and develop chemistry. And transfers are proving to be no more certain than normal recruits.

I'd love to see a list of teams with the number of transfers from 0 to whatever. It'd be interesting to see where the sweet spot is at.
