I think this is a safe space as long as it’s avoided during the actual game. That’s why I stay away

Contextualizing How Historically Good the Alabama Basketball Offense Is (SI)
The Crimson Tide has fielded a historic offense so far through the 2024 season. How does it stack up against some of the great offenses in the history of the sport?

But, it basically said some entity (I don't think it was the city though) was going to pony up most of the construction costs. And the building would host more than just basketball games.
They just went into further detail and it is some group unrelated to the University or the city(Dunaway says the Mannings are involved in it) that would build it. I hope they put it close enough to campus.

George, tired of pointing out the flaws in that one Auburn fan’s arguments each thread?

Just silliness. And I'm not an Auburn basketball hater at all, but that was laughable.

The problem with trying to talk basketball with Auburn fans is that 99% of them knew who Charles Barkley is and literally nothing else about the sport prior to 2019. Now they all act like they grew up in Indiana and learned to dribble before they could walk. The small handful who have cared about the sport for more than 5 years are alright just because, like us, they have experienced what it feels like to either have no hope or have hope strangled to death in front of them after reaching 17-9 in late February before immediately imploding again, and again...and again.

So true.

I was unable to listen this morning, can you tell the approximate time they discussed?

That was my question as well. Presumably in this scenario they’d keep Coleman? Aren’t we running out of room by the soccer fields? Don’t think you’d want to cross McFarland.

While unveiling football displays in the Paul W. Bryant Museum is not an unexpected event, Friday morning Alabama men’s basketball takes center stage with the official debut of a new exhibit honoring five coaches that have won SEC regular-season championships and the players that have scored more than 1,000 points in their career.
Beginning 9 a.m. tomorrow morning, @AlabamaMBB fans both old and new will be able to see and relive the history of one of the SEC’s winningest programs. The five coaches being honored for their SEC championships are:
Hank Crisp (1923-42, 1945-46)
1934 SEC champions, 264 career wins
C.M. Newton (1968-1980)
1974, 1975, 1975 SEC champions, 211 career wins
Wimp Sanderson (1980-1992)
1987 SEC champions, 267 career wins
Mark Gottfried (1998-2009)
2002 SEC champions, 216 career wins
Nate Oats (2019-current)
2021, 2023 SEC champions
“With the great success the men’s basketball team has had in recent years, they are so deserving of an exhibit dedicated to the program,” Bryant Museum director Olivia Arnold said. “This is the first time basketball has been featured in the museum and I am so excited to share with our visitors what an amazing program basketball has been and continues to be at The University of Alabama.”
With the vintage-themed game against Texas A&M at 11 a.m. Saturday, this is the perfect weekend for all generations of Alabama basketball fans to visit the museum and see the new exhibit.
The Paul W. Bryant Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Members and children under-5 are free admission. Adults $5, children (K-12) $3, while admission is free to all UA faculty staff and students.

Long time Bammers and Barner basketball fans have earned this golden age of in-state hoops many times over.

Really need to win these 2 home games before the 4 game stretch with 3 road games. The trip to Gainesville is going be very difficult.

Spot on.
Win the next two and a split of the last four very likely gets at least a tie for the regular season title. Lose one and the road becomes decidedly uphill.

My absolute guess based on nothing. The University will sell the city some Bryce land that borders McFarland close to the softball fields for $1. Then the city builds the arena.
