I think it depends on position. The late bloomers are usually a 4 or 5 like Olajawon or Dirk.

Commented on us having been a little thin in the front court, but now a guy who had been suspended is eligible again for the Auburn game, "imagine that".

Yep

I mean if it were strictly because we were facing a good post player, Pringle would’ve been available against MSU.

How good do we feel about holding on to our coach?

I mean, we know he'll be getting offers. Is somewhere like Louisville an attractive destination for Oats?

In the big picture, we need to split these games this week although a win tonight and I think we'd be hard pressed to not at least share the regular season unless we sort of fall apart.

LSU should get drilled tonight (@ Tenn) with us coming to town Sat.

Tonight for the love of god, get off to a good start.

Huge opportunity this evening. Roll Tide!

We have 9 more SEC games and I look at them in blocks of 4.

We need to go at least 3-1 in the next 4 (which means splitting road games @ Auburn and @ LSU and winning the two home games against Florida and A&M). Should be straightforward.

We need to go at least 2-2 in the 4 after that (@ UK, @ Ole Miss, Tennessee, @ Florida). This is the tricky bit. Need to take care of business against Tennessee and win 1/3 on the road against tournament teams.

Last game is Arkansas at home which we should win since the wheels have come off up there.

That gets us to 14-4 in conference which hopefully would be good for a share of the title (though Auburn has a pretty favorable run-in).

Honestly, the winner tonight should probably be the favorite to win the regular season title.

SEC Tourney would look like this as of now:

12) Ark vs 13) Vandy
11) MSU vs 14) Mizu

8) Aggie vs 9) LSU
5) Ken vs Aggie/LSU
7) Ole Miss vs 10) UGa
6) Fla vs MSU/Miz

1) Ala vs Aggie/LSU
4) Tenn vs Ken-Aggie/LS
2) SCar vs OM/UGa
3) Aub vs Fla-MSU/Miz

something like that. Of course, it all changes after tonight.

Looks plausible because we're on the Kentucky side of the bracket.

We are 7-2 from winning 3 of 4 SEC titles, if it's outright, it's only been done once by someone other than Kentucky (Fla).

There are blue blood programs that I'd be worried about.

Louisville is not one of them.

Winning at AU is tough. I do not expect to win tonight, but of course a win is possible. AU is hungry for this one.

This may be the last time we are an underdog in the regular season.

To win this one we have to come out hot and not flat. If Bama let's their crowd go nuts with an early lead then it could snowball.
