Nate Oats did the right thing pushing the guy away.

People can say what they want but this is the reason players love him. Buddy ain't have no business coming in our direction after the ref told him to get back.

We lay our heads on the pillow tonight in sole possession of first place...after two weeks.

Nothing but opportunity Saturday. Let it fly.

When you consider the total staff change and just 3 returning players from last year, this might be Nate's best coaching job yet. Number one offense in the nation and a quickly improving defense despite losing more than arguably any other team in the country is freaking impressive.

We are a conference title contender period. The next game doesn't really indicate anything whether we win or lose.

The SEC hasn’t had a conference champion with more than 3 conference losses since 2018. If we go 0-2 in the next couple with @Kentucky, @Ole Miss, @Auburn, and home UT left, it’ll be tough.

Not sole possession really.

As a result, Stevenson should not have been reclassified. He should have prepared for one more year.

The reddit thread on it already has 130 comments.

LINK

I was surprised it was getting so much momentum. Turns out, half the comments are a bitch arse Auburn fan trying to stir shite. The rest of the different fans saying it's not a good thing to do, but a weak little nothing push.

While there's a lot I don't like shite Reddit college basketball sub, sometimes you can get a pretty good balanced perspective from fans across the country, even if it skews younger.

And pretty much only Auburn fans still try to bring up shite with Miller. Even the Purdue fans over there have been decent this season.

Auburn fans hate Nate with a passion. For some reason us having a decent bball team really grinds their gears.

Few minutes for Wague tonight. Injury or other issues? Seemed to be recovering Saturday.

They pivoted to basketball when they hired Pearl and thought they could hold basketball success over us, then we finally made a great hire in Oats and stole their thunder. Now they're getting beat by us in football and basketball.

He must not be fully healthy yet bc it seemed like we were trying to get the ball into the paint a lot tonight. We could have used his size and finishing around the rim.

Im not worried about Stevenson at all. He is going through some growing pains but he is still very talented. It will start clicking for him.

Rylen was off the charts tonight.

What amazes me is our ball rotation on offense. I got too accustomed to watching JQ and Shack play ISO hero ball, just to sling up a dumb layup, hoping to draw a foul. But we're moving around the floor like an NBA team, which has given our shooters fantastic looks. Good, smart ball rotation with a floor full of shooters is hard as hell to stop. So many guys are playing with confidence, but not selfishly.

These guys seem to have found their edge. Still have some sloppy tendencies, but it's a really tough group of older guys.

They won some game, got a fancy new arena, and thought basketball was gonna be their sport.

But it's not like we were trying to hire guys coaches. We've spent a lot of money on the just 2 guys. We just finally got an AD that knows what he's doing.

Kaluma at Kansas St hit a huge and1 3 pointer at the end of OT to beat Baylor. Even though we didn't get him, glad it's working out for him there.

It's been wild to see how many of our portal targets have done well. Oats is so damn good at talent evaluation.

I would like to say this now before we play two more top 15 teams coming up next on the schedule, but can we please not panic and question if we're a NCAAT team the next time we lose a close game to a top 15 team?

Arkansas gifted their first SEC win with one of the worst overturned calls I've seen. Absolutely no evidence to overturn it.

Easily the best crowd and the best atmosphere of the season so far. Loved having the students sprinkled throughout the crowd. Hope the University keeps it going. The team played hard and finished in spectacular fashion. Coach DeBoer made a surprise appearance. Oh, and not one dropped bowl!
