I saw that Auburn moved up to 5 on KenPom that seems about right. Congrats on the big win @Arkansas today.

We’re in pretty good position. Top 15 in O and D is the championship formula.

But man we are absolutely crushing it defense right now. Think we jumped like 14 spots today.

Our metrics are gonna tank after this one. Vandy is in the 200s in NET and KenPom.

We were overated anyways. No way we were honestly a top 5 team. No trying to hate, but just being honest.

Except Sears shooting almost 53.6% and 45.6% from 3, averaging almost 20 ppg, with 3.8/1.7 assists/TOs, and a 133.5
4 offensive efficiency rating on Torvik. Torvik has Sears as his #6 player in college basketball.

Sears trying to play hero ball at the end of games has cost us a few times. I love him and he’s been playing at an SEC 1st team level most of the season but he has to understand he cant do it all.

The games where it's the worst, are when the entire team gets cold for a stretch. And as said, he'll have a few highlights and a few dumb turnovers. But when we get those cold stretches, he's often the only reason we're in the gene the begin with. We need more consistency from this year's transfers, and much smarter play from the returning contributors.

They didn't tank though, we were 7th before this game and we're 10th now. That had more to do with some teams below us getting big wins than anything we did.

North Carolina beat Clemson and jumped us ect.

LSU hanging with TAMU on the road is surprising. 22 to 21 TAMU 15 minutes in.

According to the analytics, today was more of a case of Vandy playing good than us playing bad. We didn't drop any spots in defense or in offense, Vanderbilt jumped up 20 spots on KenPon despite losing.

I will always take the stance that any win in Vandy’s baby back BS gym is a good one. I’ve see. Plenty of good shooting teams go in there and go ice cold.

Not a good day to be the home team in the SEC, especially if LSU somehow held on.

It's a weird place to play for sure. We shot better than they did, didn't make a lot of sense that it was close, We shot 50% overall and 40% from three, they shot 40% overall and 27% from three. what killed us was the 16 turnovers, that helped them get 65 shot attempts compared to us only shooting 53 shots. Have to give them some credit for the turnovers though, they had 10 steals so it wasn't like all of them were unforced.

They beat Miss State today I was surprised by that. Hopefully we get a packed house, football season is over now, 6 PM tipoff.

Our OOC resume is going to look better than people think.

Oregon may win the Pac12 once they get everyone back.

I don’t see Indiana State losing more than 1 or 2 more games.

Liberty in the CUSA could very easily end up top 50 in NET

This. Oats having success there doesn’t change the fact that over the last 30+ years that’s been a house of horrors for Alabama.

Winning there and being 1-0 in league play doesn’t need to be taken for granted. We went up 18 in the first half and my immediate thought was Vandy is about to rally, no way we blow them out.

It’s Basketballs version of Jordan Hare Stadium. Any win is a good win there.

Something else to consider is that Vandy has kind of habitually done the whole play to the level of their competition thing under Stackhouse. They'll look good against a competent opponent, but usually lose a close one because they just don't have the players, and then turn around and completely shite the bed against some garbage mid-major or SEC bottom feeder. They're kind of like us during the Grant days. If you cut out the annual 3-4 ugly losses they still wouldn't be anything special but they'd be on the right side of the bubble more often than not.

That said, these guys are starting to remind me of the football team. The parts are greater than the sum of the whole and I don't think we will ever see them put it all together for a full game more than a few times.

Thought the crowd was good yesterday. I’d say 50/50 split between the two teams, maybe slight edge to the Tide.
