Thanks man. I just got the ESPN app.

I’m having trouble with my ESPN app. I’m trying to login through my cable provider and it keeps say “Content not authorized, please contact cable provider” I contact Dish and they tell me it’s an ESPN problem and then I contact ESPN and they tell me it’s a Dish problem.

I guess I’m fricked or I’m gonna have to sign up for ESPN+ to watch the game

I just tried the app and it is acting like the game is on ESPN+ and not SECN+. SECN+ is included with my YouTubeTV so hoping it is just trying to force me into a subscription before the game starts.

With that said, the Indiana St and South AL games are on ESPN+ so I will be doing the $10.99 one-month subscription at some point anyway. If I have to do it tonight, not the end of the world.

In my experience, you need to open the espn app, click on "browse" at the top, find the channels and click on secn+. If you try to open the game from other parts of the espn app, it tries to funnel you through espn+, like pio mentioned.

That said, I have espn+ with my current hulu subscription, so I might not be seeing the same errors as you guys.

Open the ESPN app , click the “Watch” link (mine is along the bottom) and scroll down to the listing of channels about mid way down the screen. From there, scroll over to the SECN+ icon and open it. The Bama game is listed there along with a bunch of other games under the “Upcoming Today” header.

Note: sometimes you’ll get a prompt to pick the broadcast when you open the game - be sure to pick the SECN+ one. I’ve noticed with some football games they are listing both the channel and ESPN+ and if you pick ESPN+ it will give the not authorized message.
