From the sound of the interview with his dad, it doesn't sound like Bama is an option anymore.

Is there any chance any of the portal guys come back to Bama? Proctor or Amos? It is difficult to conceive DeBoer dropping the ball this badly his first week on the job as much as Byrne and others wanted this guy.

Washington OL Parker Brailsford has scheduled a visit to Alabama for this weekend, per

Brailsford started at every single game for the Huskies in 2023- 2 at right guard, 13 at center.

BOOOM!

That graphic is almost as intimidating as the guy himself!

That would help ease the sting of Proctor !

The man is mainly guilty of not being Nick Saban and not keeping Nick’s entire staff

Hell, even Nick Saban might not have been able to keep the entire staff, or stop all the transfers. Some of this stuff was probably already coming down the pike before he retired. I'm convinced of it. To blame DeBoer for everything is ridiculous. He's met with all the current players several times, had staff in contact with recruits and high school coaches in the state, has almost put a new staff together, and hasn't even had time to get settled. There's a hell of a lot to get done. We have to work the portal ourselves, too. which we appear to be doing.

Yes, Amos and Niblack have I think one visit and nothing else. They may find the grass isn’t greener and come back. We will see.

We need Muhammad, the OL kid, and the WR. Getting those 3 would be massive.

Maybe Niblack watched some film on how UW used their TEs. He would be in for a massive year if he stayed.

I love this kid and his Mom. She is very active on twitter and has said more than once that Jaeden wouldn’t leave Bama until the draft!

Can someone remind me who Noah Carter is? Is he the EDGE that was committed to UW?

Also, before Saban's retirement, I felt cautiously optimistic about Ryan Williams. Now I have absolutely no clue where he might be leaning. I think AU's coaching staff issues may help us, and I think he would thrive in DeBoer's offense... but who knows

Carter is a 2024 four-star edge rusher out of Centennial High School in Peoria, Arizona. He is currently uncommitted after backing off his pledge to Washington earlier this month. Kalen DeBoer and his Alabama staff look to capitalize on the relationship they have built with Carter.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pounder is a long and athletic edge prospect, who doubled as a receiver and edge rusher as a senior. He has the length Alabama typically goes after at the outside linebacker position. He plays fast and with the ability to play sideline to sideline. He is a talented athlete, who could be recruited as a wide receiver if he decided to play there full-time

Haven’t listened to this yet but supposedly a good, calming take on the current situation. High praise on the call from Will in Tampa.

He seems on the small side to play center in the SEC. I haven’t seen a center his size play for Bama in like 20 years.

Elite safeties don’t grow on trees. I also hate to say it but that position is never going to make or break a championship team. Just the way it is now.

We have Moore and Smith. I say keep Tony Mitchell locked in and develop him as the next strong safety type.
