It'll be interesting to see where they slot Calhoun in Spring and Fall camps

Don’t know if it’s already been posted or not but I was listening to full ride this morning and Rick Neuheisel, who is at the senior bowl this week, made an interesting comment that there were rumors that Milroe was not as liked by his teammates as some on the outside thought
He didn’t elaborate any but thought it interesting he would even bring it up

Are we sure that he is gone gone? Like, there is no taking his name out of the draft now, is there? I know basketball has that. Door is closed. No takesies backsies. Right?

You have 72 hours to withdraw after declaring for the draft. But that's an NCAA rule that has never been challenged, so good luck enforcing that

There’s not a shot in hell he’s able to even get back on this roster if he were to come back to college
Doors closed, he can enroll elsewhere. Doubt DeBoer or anyone in the AD is keen to let him have another trainwreck season
In other news, apparently he was holding the ball for eons in the scrimmage. One of the Seahawks beat guys had some clips and he couldn’t hit the broadside of the barn either

Good grief, he’s awful. It still amazes me that Jesse Palmer and other people at ESPN kept trying to gaslight us into believing that he was a top five pick.

I think there is a chance he falls out of the 1st round despite the weak NFL draft class. He's that bad.
However, if he gets drafted in the first round, he's going to put a lot of NFL front office and coaching staff out of a job in the next 3-4 years.

Bill O'Brien tried to do one thing right while he was here. But nobody listened. It feels strange watching him going into his NFL career. Part of me wishes him well, hope for the best, all that stuff. But a bigger part of me is just not a fan of his. There is so much scar tissue left from the last two seasons that i cant really believe in or give a shite about this guy.
I dont ever recall feeling that way about another bama player going to the nfl. Ever.

The best gaslighting was in 2023 when Rod Gilmore was on his West Coast bullshite trying to tut-tut the Alabama fans for not supporting this great quarterback. Believe it was the MSU game where Milroe played like dog shite but had two loose play rushing TDs in the first half.
I've always sensed this thinly veiled contempt for Alabama and Southern football programs from Gilmore likely because of his prejudice against folks that, at this juncture, had nothing to do with George Wallace or Bull Conner.

Depends on when in the first. If he's taken middle to late first by a decent team that can stick him on the bench for a year or two behind a vet it probably isn't going to get anyone fired. If he goes early to a dumpster fire like the Giants, Browns, or Jets it's going to be a beautiful disaster.

Gilmore is a west coast man. He played for Stanford in the 80’s. No doubt that there is a lot of political disdain towards Alabama. ESPN seems to like people like him. Their network as a whole doesn’t care for us. Them and other national media love to troll us whenever something happens no matter how minor.
