Good. Lost a lot of respect for Harris a couple of years ago. Not a fan.

Has it been announced that Alabama at Florida State in 2025 is a Sunday game?

Our official site is the only one listing that as a sunday game. The FSU official site has it as a saturday matchup.

I don't know if I'm looking forward to this one or not. My Fiance, who will be my wife at the time, cheered for FSU and is probably more emotional than me when it comes to watching football. We watched the playoff reveal together and she just screamed and left the house when Bama was revealed

That fanbase also has MASSIVE little brother syndrome when it comes to the SEC as a whole, but especially to Alabama. I live in the panhandle so I'm around them all the time, but that fanbase HATES Alabama- probably how some old timer bama fans hated Miami or hated Notre Dame. It's going to be a hostile atmosphere, hope our fans don't expect to be welcomed with much hospitality down there.

My hope is that we just beat their arse to a pulp. Make them roll over on their back and piss themselves in submission. A close Bama win will break that fanbase

Tremendous picture. And that’s from a person who wouldn’t vote GOP for dog catcher.

To return the thread from a political derailing… why the lack of love for #34?

You don't want to go down that road....believe me. This thread will derail the moment he says it.

Chad can't help himself. He loves 2 things, conservative politics and Bama QBs in the NFL .

Really cool article about new "special assistant to the head coach" Ron McKeefery. It's behind a paywall, but you can read quite a bit before the article cuts off:

Alabama football has a new 'culture guy' implementing Kalen DeBoer’s vision

My daughter's graduated at Florida State. Nephew played and GAed for Jimbo. Have had a lot of good times at the Doak. But you are right that fanbase hates the SEC.

Which years? I went to grad school at FSU and GA'd in the weightroom for a time, working with multiple teams, including both cheer teams. My neighbors were also two cheerleaders as well (a male and a female), so I ended up becoming friends with a number of them during my time there. Still talk to a handful of them pretty often.

Can confirm though as most of my close friends are from my time there or are people I met through someone I know from my time there, they have a pretty staunch hate for all things SEC. The moment we were selected for the playoff, the vast majority would not speak to me or respond to me on text for a few days minimum. For some it lasted a few weeks. One actually hasn't spoke to me since lol

Thats a awesome read. I like this part.
quote:

Until they could move their families to town, the three coaches -- McKeefery, DeBoer and Grubb -- shared a two-bedroom student apartment. DeBoer gave one room to McKeefery and one room to Grubb. And DeBoer? He slept on the floor.

"He's sleeping on this cold cement floor in this crappy apartment," McKeefery told The Seattle Times last year. "He's humble as can be. Won a thousand games before that, had a ton of success, and the dude is sleeping on the floor with a blanket that doesn't cover him. Instant friendship, instant respect."

I didn't realize Deboer worked around Dave Ballou at Indiana.

Interesting read. Looking forward to see if this staff can channel ability. I feel like Saban did that early but it tailed off in the last few years. I don't think it was Saban so much as the staff we were getting. We struggled down the stretch to get the assistants we needed.
