This video right here is enough to settle the white helmet debate. It would look so bad.

Rarely has a post ever been more wrong than this. And that's saying something for the Tigerdroppings universe.

369, 325, 290, 310, 324 respectively

Significantly slimmer at every position but LT, however consensus seems to be that Proctor is either carrying more weight better, or his 360 wt was dramatically underreported in 2023

Either way, things are looking good

I like the new OL coach and I like where we are going but the nature of that thing is that it's going to look really bad for the first few games. It takes till around game 4 to see where you're really at. In this case game 4 is UGA so they better have their crap together by then.

Truly sounds like OLine will be a strength this year. How long has it been since we were able to say that with some confidence? I guess 2020.

Last year we were excited about that group because "they're all gigantic, so the run game is going to be unstoppable." It's tough to go from that to realizing they probably kept Bama from another championship.

At the first of this video you see Coach Sheridan coaching Jalen about under center snaps. The offense was running hand off plays from under center on the other end of the field in another video.

Dang I'm getting excited.

I'm not super sold on all-whites unless we have some more color on the tops. Without color on the shoulder and a logo on the helmet it becomes just a bland canvas.

is basically the meh Penn State Whites with the number on the helmet instead of the shoulder.

versus the A&M storm trooper look

Even the Oregon whites play off of color contrast

The OL is a bit like the olympic choreograph swimming team. 4 can do the right thing and if 1 doesn't the whole thing falls apart. Even the best line we ever had production wise (2012) looked like garbage for the first few weeks.

Alabama is going to be very strong on the offensive and defensive lines this year. Defensive line is loaded with depth and experience.

Dude, your takes are so weird. Bama rushed for 232 yards week 1 vs Michigan out of the gate and never looked back.

To be fair that kid from Western Kentucky gave DJ Fluker absolute fits. The negatives tend to stick with us more

Alabama gained 328 net yards of offense against Western Kentucky in game 2 of the 2012 season. Only rushed for 103 net yards and gave up 6 sacks in the game.

If that's the definition of "not looking back" for a dominant OL, wow. Just wow.

The point being, it usually DOES take a bit of time for even a good OL to gel as a unit. We'll see how that theory plays out in 2024.

Slightly off top but relevant is that Texas starting running back CJ Baxter is expected to miss the entire season with a knee injury. Big loss for them. I pray that we can stay healthy leading up the season.

Yep, I have no idea why I always remember Shaq Barrett, Quanterus Smith, and Roosevelt Nix all had career days against Bama in "cupcake" games.

Nix was a man possessed, he was EVERYWHERE. And the guy was built like a FB playing DT.

Western Kentucky had one of the best Linebackers and Safeties in the country that year if I remember correctly.

They were a solid team. Had 4 players drafted off that team.
