You aren't going to see too many people getting rowdy on $10 beers, anyway.
Funny story - At the Tennessee game in 2009, I sat next to a guy in his 20's from New Jersey. He said he'd grown up a Bama fan and decided he wanted to finally see them play in person. He and a couple of buddies had driven down. He had lots of minis in his boots, and was deep in drunk sleep by the end of the 3rd quarter. He had driven all that way, and was passed out for one of the most exciting moments in Bama history.

Totally random and off-topic, but there is this band/artist that I really like called Little Wings. His real name is Kyle Field. His wikipedia says that he was born in Tuscaloosa in 1972 but then moved to LA a few years later when his father accepted a coordinator job with UCLA. I've tried to research before to figure out who his dad is, but I've been unsuccessful.
Today I finally figured it out-his dad is Bobby Field. Former Arkansas LB, and GA under Bryant from '71-'72. Then became the DC under Bob Tyler at Mississippi State for 5 years before heading to UCLA to be DC for 22 years. Currently is in a senior admin role with UCLA athletics.
His wife (and I guess Kyle Field's mom?) is Valorie Kondos Field, storied UCLA gymnastics coach from 1991-2019. Kinda still a smoke show at age 64.
Both are in the UCLA athletics hall of fame.
Strange to me that there is absolutely zilch on the internet about this familial connection of 3 notable/famous people.
Anyway, I just needed to tell people this. Thanks for understanding.

2024 defensive lineman signee Steve Mboumoua did not qualify. He will enroll at Southwest Community College in Summit, Mississippi and try to enroll at Alabama in January.

We need to land a couple of good transfer portal DT’s and sign a couple NT/DT types in HS recruiting. We are ok this season depth wise and returning production/legit NFL guys, but they’re all going to leave after this year and next for the most part. Idk why we aren’t stock piling DLs or if UGA just has that much of a strong hold on all of them that are legit.

Our DL recruiting is not upto par this year. Maybe we’ll have some late success. Certainly hope so.
