2 pitches from Ray
2 outs
Good guys win and we will still get Ray for at least one more game this weekend.

Need Antoine to return to form this weekend so we can take the series.
Feels fricking great to finally win on a Friday in the SEC.

Don’t mean to be that guy but Ole Miss has been slumping since getting to #1. Granted the SuperViles had a lot to do with that slump but the Black Bears are 4-6 over their last 10 and 2-5 in the league over that span.
I’ll take any win we can get but it may not be as shiny as it looks

Great team win after things were not looking so positive through 1 1/2 innings. So happy the team kept their wits about them and pulled this one out. Awesome play by Pinckney mentioned in an earlier post. Here’s the clip for those who missed it:
Pinckney rifles it from right field to get the runner out at 3rd

Any SEC road win is to be celebrated. If we don't blow back to back double digit leads against Clanga we're sitting at 7-3 in conference and wondering if this is finally the season we turn it around.

This is the SEC West
We’re all “slumping”
State (4-5) just blew a 9th inning lead to LSU (also 4-5).
Damn near everybody is about to be 5-5 or 4-6

This is my perspective as well. A road win against the current #9 ranked team and, if I heard correctly, the first win at Ole Miss since 2011. Bama currently tied for 3rd in the west.
Win.This. Series. !

It is. I was fortunate enough to be a coach who worked with Hunter Elliott in high school. Kid is legit. There's a reason he's starting Friday night as a freshman.

How many wins we think have to get to get back to a regional?

Coach Bo reading my mind (or watching my eyes)
Early Offense, McMillan’s Strong Start Help Baseball to 7-4 Win at No. 7 Ole Miss
From Head Coach Brad Bohannon
"I'm really proud of our team, that was one of our best efforts of the year. We had guys on in the top of the first, had a chance to get a big hit, and we didn't do it. We come out and go E5, walk, walk – I'm sure some of our fans started rolling their eyes – but Garrett (McMillan) got out of it and really settled in. He gave us an outstanding effort, and then Brock (Guffey) and Dylan (Ray) did great out of the pen. We had a lot of offensive production tonight, too. This was a good win for us, going on the road and beating a great Ole Miss team on Friday night in the first game of the series, so I'm really excited for our guys."
