Lucky to get a win after we should have swept them. This State team is average.

I will chalk one of the losses up to Dookey Noble home field advantage.
Glad the guys didn’t roll over and take the sweep today.

Nothing official - he had a couple of rough outings early on so I was originally thinking they sat him for a while. Now hearing that he’s had something going on (injury wise) but may be close to returning. The coaches in pre season interviews were really counting on him to be ‘the guy’ out of the bullpen. Hopefully he’s back soon and is the closer the coaches thought he would be.

Thx, I’d heard an injury bug also fwiw. Our starters allowed only 4 earned runs over 21.1 innings this past weekend & Grayson was outstanding yesterday. If we could just shore up the pen … RTR

I realize it was against ‘non SEC’ competition, but early on Dylan Ray, Hunter Furtado, Luke Holman all had great outings. Can’t blame the staff for going with them in relief (maybe can for leaving them in too long…). Who was the bum that said hindsight’s 50/50
Like I said earlier, this Bama team seems to pay for every defensive mistake. Hit batter, run scores. Walked batter, run scores. Fielding error that should have been an out, run scores.
Still a couple dozen conference games left and a half dozen or so mid weeks (
) and this team fights. So I’m hoping for the best, preparing for the worst, and lighting a candle for this season.
