denton looked at two curveball strikes and then swung at garbage. the moment was too big for hodo. he looked scared to death.

Jean looks a lot better than he did last week. Don’t love those last two 3-0 counts, but threw strikes from then on the get the outs needed. He looks a lot more under control overall though.
Hits are going to be tough to come by with this weather, so we need to take advantage when we’re in position today.

Got a lot of veteran bats that need to make a play at some point or we can't win series against high level teams (which is half our schedule).

Our plate approach is frustrating. It’s getting old. Nothing has changed and we have veterans now.

It's been awful for 5 years, and we have guys who should have veteran approaches at this point. It looks like we are guessing in every single count.
