Suppose to rain all week. The Barons are on the road. I wonder if they could use Regions Field to make up some of these games if needed.

Agreed. I know they don’t in college but in HS , I called timeout and gave the hitter a lot of “encouragement” in those type situations where a run was critical

God Bless what an outing by Ben, was awesome to see him come out and look like how we thought he would this year and then some! Glad to see it for him and nice save by Dylan! Batting for the game wasnt great but did its job the first few innings and Brock gave up the 2 run homer but also got us out of the jam. We stay alive and gain double elimination. Lets keep it going!

Hess was lightning in a bottle.

Great win. Really need to win the next one to give us as many shots as some more RPI wins as possible.

our starter should be able to pitch again soon.

of the 4 pitchers who threw today there was only one real bad pitch.

Bats were crappy after the second but they did bring in a long relief pitcher who was pretty good

Still haven’t started game 2… going to try to get two more in tonight. Auburn/Kentucky moved to tomorrow.

More rain in the forecast tomorrow, but not until later in the afternoon/evening.

I know they’ve canceled the championship game before because of rain, but what other contingency plans do they have? Just keep pushing games back into the weekend? Luckily the weather is supposed to be much better starting Friday, so no issues then, but 5 games on the slate for tomorrow is ambitious even without rain. Thursday’s forecast is dicey as well.

Bullpen Effort Powers Alabama Baseball Past Georgia at SEC Tournament, 5-3

The Crimson Tide's bullpen combined for three hits and two runs through seven innings pitched, advancing the team to the first round of double elimination play.

The weather continues to cast doubt on the schedule and times. Best case scenario is the Bama game at 1:30 pm today. But it’s raining again now. I’m not sure how they will get this tournament in, unless perhaps they go to single elimination for the duration (like softball). I’m not sure that is even an option.

For now, we revel in Bama’s undefeated run in the 2022 SEC Tournament!
