- Soccer Top 4
- Football Top 5
- Men's Basketball Top 5
- Softball Top 10
- Track (M/W) Top 10
- Cross Country (W) Top 10
- Gymnastics Top 11
- Swimming (M/W) Top 15
- Men's Golf Top 20
- Women's Basketball Top 20 NET
- Baseball Top 25

Byrne needs to fix Volleyball (the last truly horrible program we have left) and Tennis, but outside of that we're clicking on all cylinders in general. Great shot at a Top 10 Director Cup finish if winter sports finish strong and spring play out as predicted.

For volleyball, I think the new coach is good but having watched them play in person, they need a big influx of talent. Hopefully, she can bring some in.

She came from ETSU didn't she?

Edit - I think that was the previous one that got fired.

From the Bryant Museum - remembering those we lost in 2022 who played a role in making Bama great

A tribute to those we lost in 2022 who played a role in making the great tradition that is The University of Alabama.

Adding Kent Waldrop in there was pure class. That story is one of the greatest ever told (in terms of UA...pretty despicable on TCU's part).

An excellent thread!
I think Byrne has done a great job so far, and I can see us moving forward in the future!

Need to recruit Hazel Green High School exclusively for all women’s teams. Insane basketball record. Softball and volleyball is no slouch.

Historically good girls programs.
All the way back to my senior year (1981 old fudger) they won the state triple crown.
I think they’ve won 82 in a row in basketball.

Alabama has pretty much an unlimited athletic budget (relatively speaking), there's no reason for EVERY sport to be consistently in the top 20. None.

Alabama Athletics Extends Multimedia Rights Relationship with LEARFIELD in Landmark Deal

Crimson Tide to Benefit from Elevated Offerings, Dedicated NIL Center, Original Content in New Agreement

quote:

The new 15-year agreement, one of the longest and most integrated in college athletics, builds on the traditional components that have encompassed the relationship since 1998 with several new strategic initiatives including an original content platform in collaboration with LEARFIELD Studios, and access to robust data and analytics enhancements via the company's Fanbase infrastructure to better connect with Alabama fans.

A highlight of the new agreement is a first-of-its-kind, dedicated NIL hub called The Advantage Center, which will serve as the epicenter of support for name, image and likeness (NIL) endeavors for the more than 600 Crimson Tide student-athletes. LEARFIELD and Alabama Athletics will collaborate on the development of the center to provide a physical home and team of dedicated staff to provide education and resources for student-athletes with respect to NIL opportunities, as well as a location to showcase successful local and national NIL relationships.
