Ty missed several critical throws tonight. He cost us the game.
It's like some people are doing their best to avoid this fact. Even with the drops Ty wasn't helping the situation with his decision making at all.

Yeah every QB misses passes. If all 10 dropped passes were caught...it would be a 100% different game.
Why does everyone rail on Ty when Bama has pathetic run blocking and zero run game?

And so is the running game
We all knew that going into the game. We also knew we had a struggling quarterback that barely threw for 100 against Auburn. I don’t know for 100% that Austin Mack or Keelon Russell would have been more successful, but I know we didn’t have a shot with Ty. Why not give the 6-6 quarterback with a cannon a shot? Why not give the overall number one quarterback out of high school a shot?

This is unexcusable as well but Ty has played with this deficit all year long he should know better and be adjusted to this situation enough to maneuver through this.
Also, the lack of a run game is no excuse for some of the passes he missed. That wide open 3rd down pass he could have completed had no bearing on the lack of run game that was strictly on Ty and no one else

Because he’s sucked butt the last half of the season. This isn’t complicated

I tend to agree. I don't think Ty is without blame - far from it - but there are so many other factors at play for why this offense has collapsed down the stretch. We don't run the ball well, but we don't throw a lot of RB or WR screens, swing passes, or pop passes, to incorporate "run" plays into our pass game, we don't spread the defense out (we far, far too often run out of tight formations) to reduce numbers, we do very little to stress the perimeter underneath to get them running side to side and soften them up. So we suck at running the ball and don't do anything to alleviate it. But I don't think our OL or RBs are anything special either. It sometimes takes a while, but a one trick pony eventually gets figured out. Our trick was completing passes between the numbers 10-25 yards down field but when that got taken away and teams dared us to run the ball on them we had no counter.

Do you seriously think Gunner Stockton would be lighting it up with zero running game. No threat at all from play action?

Ty missed a throw here and there, but there’s 0 talent at our skill positions. This is the worst RB room I’ve seen in my lifetime at Bama.

Probably because all that doesnt mean much when you Oline cant block.

Deep balls dont win you championships.
They sure won Ohio State one last year.
We just don’t even try them anymore because our QB cannot throw them effectively due to injury.

BINGO. Our go fast is slower than molasses. It's all Ty. Unfortunately, he has a low football IQ. Go back and watch Tua or Young. They seem to always find the hot receiver and could get us lined up and snapping the ball while the defense was still lining up. We run the play clock to 2 or 3 seconds every play. Maddening.

18 pressures, 3 sacks...10 fricking drops...two dropped TDs. Yeah his pass as stupid as frick on the 4th down...but his 3rd down pass for a 1st was dropped
They blitzed on over 50% of plays because they know Ty was panicking and can’t make the throws. The reason he was being pressured so much and why we have a stacked box to run against is because he can’t make them pay for it.

You know whats great at neutralizing blitzes...run game

Throws where he had a defender about to pummel him. You cant win when they get easy pressure rushing 4. When they rushed more than 4, he had two millisecond
The int, he had time to throw, held it too long and threw it behind the receiver where it was intercepted.
Third and two, he throws a bad pass on a short easy throw any QB should make.

What quarter was the 3 yr dump off to Hill that Ty bulleted into the ground? Was he going to put a screen pass in the right spot for the rb or wr to have success?
Third and 2, he fires it in the turf.

No, it isn’t. Every once in a while you’ll see a team break a long one on the blitz, but often times it means your RB is hit in the backfield. Ever heard of a run blitz? And why do you think there are 7-8 players at the LOS on a 4th and 1?

No actually quick passing game does that.
Do you know who missed on many short passes today? Not the UGA QB

Need new OL coach. End of statement. Also the ST coach needs to tell the punter not to take 5 steps.
