My hatred of Auburn doesn't really translate from the gridiron to the hardwood. This run has been remarkable and I am jealous a.f. I am definitely pulling for them because you know; frick Kentucky, Kansas, and North Carolina and their blue blood resumes.
If you want to be pissed about something, be pissed we paid Avery Mutherfricking Johnson $5MM to go away and that Bama will suck again next year.

Getting mad at Bama fans for giving Auburn a hard time? I'm not sure some of you know how rivalries work.

I am mad because Auburn has lapped us in basketball and its not even up for debate. We actually have a much more respectable history than them yet they are the ones who are in the Final Four, they are the ones with a better coach, and they are the ones with a new arena.
Bitching at them for their success makes look like bitches. We should be doing more about it.

I have never once bitched about their success in basketball.

Its a game. Played by 18-22 year olds. Its not that serious yall. Doesn't make anyone lesser of a fan if they don't have hate in their heart for Auburn. Some folks just don't have a lot of hate in their heart at all. Get over it.

I will never root for Auburn as long as I'm alive.
That said, moving to Lee County and being around Auburn fans makes you realize for the most part they're not that bad, not near as bad as some in our base make them out to be.
Y'all want to experience bad? Georgia fans in Columbus, GA are 10 x worse than Auburn fans. Think Darrel that calls Finebaum and subtract knowledge and reason. Auburn fans admit when they're awful. Georgia fans ride their free fall to the ground and get mad at you for noticing.

To each is own, for sure, but I kind of relate to the blue blood basketball programs because of our bluest blooded football program. Kind of an exclusive club and I'm just not real wild about some of the riff raff.

If you're genuinely pulling for AU, then that's your prerogative. Its silly to pull for our biggest rival in anything but whatever.
Now if you're the Jay Barker/Funnymaine/Jim Dunaway type who are pulling for AU in order to kiss up to their fans and/or trying to broaden your appeal, then you can kindly turn in your fan card.

As noted in my post above this one, to each his own, but I have lived in Georgia most of my life and I don't find typical UGA fans nearly as much a pain in the arse as a typical Auburn fan when the subject is sports.
