They are going to unveil the next project they are moving to. There are rumors that it might be a show on the SEC Network. But it sounds like they are all leaving together and moving to another platform.

The Roundtable in its current form has been in existence for 11 years. Lance Taylor and Rockstar have been there longer, back when Ian Fitzsimmons was on it. Dunaway and Brown did a show together on AM before moving to the Roundtable.

Hello all, @jimdunaway, @TheLanceTaylor, Rockstar and I want to let you know Wednesday was The Roundtable’s last broadcast. Thank you for all the love and support over the last 11+ years. Although we’re not quite ready to unveil it yet, we’re super excited about what’s next!

Best radio show in Bham by far. Hate that the show will lose that local charm.

No longer living in Alabama, this is my daily podcast that keeps me feeling “at home”. As a fan, I’m not happy, but respect the business decision they’re making.

Here’s an al.com article. Basically same information.

I really haven’t listened much the last few years. They were the last sports talk radio that I could tolerate. I wish them the best. With the money that’s being thrown around in the podcasting world, they’re probably all about to be rich I guess.

I wonder if it will. That’s obviously where their bread is buttered.

Could also see LT trying to do more of a gambling thing with sports books popping up all over the country.

Well, "3 Man Front" is borderline unlistenable, and prior to the roundtable, Jay Barker, Al delGreco, and Tony Kurre were only slightly better.
So, I might as well remove 94.5 from one of my presets.

The Roundtable has to have been their bell cow. If they are relying on 3 Man Front and Opening Drive level shows then they’re in trouble.

Roundtable was easily WJOX best show. I listen on my EarPods at work and tweet them all the time. Makes my day go faster.

Sorry for the silence, literally. We made a decision a few weeks ago to attack a new platform that we ALL 4 can stay together forever. Thank you for the love for 12 years. Stay tuned, I promise this will be fun. Thank you #JOXCity We have some work to do ?? is coming

Dunaways tweet......I find it Odd he put emphasis on “ALL 4” .....I wonder if Cumulus was about to let one of the 4 go

I got somewhat the same vibe.
Also thought they could have split them up.
Go with Dunaway and Brown in the mornings and Lance and maybe someone else in the afternoons.
Not sure where Rockstar would go.

What I’ll miss about the show is that it wasn’t a hot take machine and they didn’t troll for ratings/callers. That’s pretty rare these days in media. I feel like it appealed to a smarter audience than Finebaum or Opening Drive.

I listened everyday to the podcast on my way home. I started a couple of years ago, just during football season. But recently, I listen to them year round. The random, non sports stuff they talk about is probably my favorite part.

I don't live in Birmingham. But of all the shows I've heard in LA, there's is the best, by far. If they kept the current format and focused a little less on Bama and Auburn and more on the SEC, generally, as well as their typical coverage of non southern schools? They could be a top podcast for sports.

I don’t think they was gonna fire anyone. I think they were gonna split them up and put 1 or 2 on the 10-2 show because lets be honest 3ManFront(other than Landrum) ain’t that great

3Man Front isn’t bad. Pat Smith doesn’t bring much to the table though. Cubelic tries to hard to make them a national show.

The Roundtable leaving clears the bench for WJOX. They have 1 studio show left. Far cry from the OD-RT-Finebaum days. Hope they don’t resort to bringing back Jay Barker or Tony Kurre.

Please no. The OD was awful. Felt like Kurre was the only one committed to the show. Barker and del Greco were out probably 100-150 days a year combined... or at least it felt that way. And they were incapable of talking anything other than CFB, and weren’t even great at that. All seemed like great guys... i just never liked the show.

3 man front is way better than Opening Drive IMO. Opening Drive was pretty bad.

3 man front isn't bad at all. I enjoy it.

Not sure what WJOX has going on right now, but I was in the car a couple of hours ago, and they had nothing but dead air.

I'm totally with East Coast on this.
Time for a change.
I've listened to WJOX when AM radio in Huntsville was all I could get. Herb Winches brother.

Well you’re in luck...3 Man front is now airing 6-2 every day. (Replay is 10-2). I don’t dislike 3 Man Front. It serves its job of keeping my mind occupied while driving during the day but it is far inferior to The Roundtable. Looks like WJOX was completely caught off guard with this one.
