Wisconsin heard rumbles and pulled an Auburn move. Leipold is another guy to keep an eye on. Leonhard is about to get ist done though. Only saving grace is Wisky are cheapskates.

He’s from Wisconsin. Was a GA at Wisconsin under Barry Alvarez. And then eventually was head coach at Wisconsin-Whitewater where he won 6 national titles. He’s a proven builder.
However, I’d bet Nebraska is interested too. He was an assistant under Solich and Callahan there. Pretty solid ties to two solid openings.

I would take Wisky if Leonhard is cool with being dc for time being. Nebraska has issues.

Another to keep an eye on is Jake Dickert, hc at WSU. Also, a Wisconsin native.

Is this guy your uncle or cousin or something? Why do you think we’d have any interest when we’ll be able to 95% or the coaches in college football when Saban retires?

95 percent of coaches are meh. you're delusional if you think the best will run to Bama, not with the new economics of things (tv money, etc). Look at who Oklahoma hired or Texas. Even OSU has had to hire a lower level coach in Tressel and recently promoted Ryan Day. Sabans don't come around often.

If Saban retire in the next 5 years it’ll be Dabo. If he stays 8+ more it’ll be either Kirby coming back from the NFL to college or Lane.
We won’t be hiring any Big 10 defensive coordinator.
Btw your point is really dumb. I don’t think either of these coaches are great but TAMU stole Jimbo from FSU and LSU stole Kelly from Notre freaking Dame. We will be able to get almost anyone we want. That won’t be Leonhard. He’ll either be fired by then or he’ll be headed to a mid level SEC job like Arky or Ole Miss.

Looks like Leonhard will be the next Head Coach at Wisconsin if he performs well as the interim Head.

Great, Bama will overpay for an average coach to follow Saban.

1. Why do you care if we “overpay?” Most said we overpaid to get Saban. That’s worked out pretty well.
2. Dabo would be great at Bama sometime in the next 5 years. Kiffin is WAY better than your cousin.

How do you think Leonhard's career will turn out?

RollTide4Ever is actually Jim leonhard who is a Bama fan boy, wants the job, and is working to start a grassroots movement.
Only way this thread makes sense.

Don’t sleep on Napier. Jury is still out on him at Florida but he’s doing all the right things. Let’s see if he can produce.
