Our band not being at the game had

A. Some effect on us, played lethargic
B. No real effect
C. Lol. No effect whatsoever.

What say you?

I'll still say "C", but some of you psychologists may think so.

Maybe it disrupted the routine?

It maybe had some minimal effect. When I used to go to road games, the players always appreciated the support, and in that environment, the band is one of the few things that can be heard by the players.

The band barely gets to play anymore anyway.

The band didn't drop any passes, miss any blocks, trip over a teammates feet, line up off sides, hit after the whistle, grab by the facemask, or any of the other dumb lack of execution shite we did yesterday.

If I'm going to blame anything besides poor preparation it's the 11:00 start time.

I don't know if it had an effect on the team, but to me that's not the point. The point is, who the frick does Texas think they are, walking all over college football tradition like that?

I also hate the playoff (period, whether expanded or not), don't like the targeting rules, and don't like the shift towards pass-heavy, run-light, finesse offenses.

I would add; the band didn’t continue to call screen passes to WRs with unblocked DBs flying in to tackle our guys for losses.

If the bass drum had been there, we'd have covered the spread!
