Not only am I convinced they have people embedded to spy on their coach within their program, I think they have “sources” within ours.

If you want to know about injuries at Bama just ask an Auburn person, they usually know before our own fans do.

Bama people vastly under estimate auburn's drive to take down the Crimson Tide. They own all the major sports outlets and are now heavily involved in state politics.

Is Sumrall any better than Golesh? You never know what you are getting with these G5 coaches

Sumrall was their first choice but can't tell you which may be better. This is his 1st big-time gig and the au boosters are already telling him what to do.

Both have the same kind of risk associated with them. That’s if they can go from good to great.

Overall I was on board with Sumrall, would have preferred the defensive rather than the offensive mind, but I am pleasantly surprised with this hire.

I think Auburn dodged a bullet with Sumtall tbh. That's just my humble opinion but I forsee him being another Billy Napier. I'm not quite sold on Golesh either but if I personally had to choose between those two, I'd go with Golesh.

Just a crapshoot either way.

Given the LSU hiring saga, really like how AU handled the hiring. Just go get the best option with high ceiling from lower conferences.

Hoping more of the big name schools begin to take a similar approach. Hire the names that have potential.
Definitely would drive the price of these coaching contracts down. Best case you find a gem, worst case you have funding to start the process over again in 3-5 years.
