Talking about the college football playoffs are unfortunately for other teams this year.
Old school BCS would be Georgia vs. Michigan -- as it should probably just be.

I am interested to see how the committee ranks Clemson. They were sitting at 9 with 2 losses. Now they won their conference championship and the three 2 loss teams in front of them were sitting home.
I am no way inferring they are better then us but if the committee bump to 5 because they won the conference it would justify them keeping TCU in as we would drop. It would eliminate any discussion in regards to UT vs UA.

You won’t. That was the argument to keep Alabama out back in 2017 and it was cranked up last year before the SEC CG because most assumed Georgia would win and they were making the argument Alabama shouldn’t get in.
Notice it completely disappeared after Alabama won and they were all fine with Georgia getting in and getting a rematch.
