That horseshoe is lodged so far up the proverbial arse of Auburn, it’s insane. Eventually it has to come home to rue in this series.

Saw that, so that's good news.

Saban did say he doesn't know who all is getting contact traced. Said that is up to the contact tracer.

I wouldn't want to be that guy/girl

Don’t see Saban being out as a big deal. Still see this as a beat down and honestly feel like this is a chance for Golding to coach without looking over his shoulder, we can really see if the guy has it or not.

Yea, no outbreak doesn't matter much, contact tracing is what kills you.

I know they are regimented in procedural stuff around the building but......yea I dunno. Guess we'll see.

We've been very good at halftime adjustments on defense this year......wonder how much of that was Saban doing more with defensive coaches at half and how much was Pete?

Do the protocols allow us to replace a missing on-field coach? For example, can an analyst be promoted for one game to replace an on-field coach who is out because of COVID protocols?

I get what your saying.. but I don’t feel like the bubble should be broken. We did have a couple of players test positive after the break also.. Saban said him self.. you don’t know where uncle has been. When you are around the same people everyday.. you build a small heard immunity within that group. That’s why pro teams were so strict on it. Yes we will all get it.. but there is ways to prevent to finish a season. Look my kids from MSU came and saw me.. only 49 got to play against UGA. We had 17 test positive after they visited, including me. There was a way to prevent that.. don’t let them out of the bubble until the season is over.

I assumed they did but I do not know that for a fact.

I seem to remember this being the case.

I thought so too but wasn't sure.

Be interesting to see which analyst takes the spot if it is.

That's fair. Letting them go home was definitely a risk, but I still doubt that is where the positive came from. With the level of community spread in the state, I feel like anyone could be positive at anytime, but I'm just some guy on a message board.

Glad it wasn't my call, as I would be uneasy with telling a guy he can't go home and see family.

In line with all this, no way they can go home for Christmas, right?

The comments of him basically staying distanced from staff and players is kinda crazy.

If they had a behind the scenes thing this year it would be insane.

I honestly think the playoffs will be pushed back if possible after the Break.. there will be a lot of teams with Covid players. Christmas break is going to explode the numbers.. and contact tracing will kill some teams

As long as we don't contact trace players who have already had the virus we should be okay. Because, you know, that's fricking idiotic.

According to someone in the know, most of our players had it over the summer.

Once again, glad that's not my call, but if the Playoffs aren't going to offer flexibility, then I would say the smartest thing would be to keep them in Tuscaloosa. That sucks for them and their families though.

But, hopefully if the chance for a ring is there, everyone will be willing to sacrifice a bit.

Sark is a good coach, nick has made mistakes in the IB before, Sark is more of a run the score kind of guy. I like it all.

My prediction? We see absolutely no difference.

Agreed. If it's just Saban out, and no key players, I don't think it makes a huge difference. We should still be able to score 35+, and our defense will get enough stops.
