Sark is a good coach, nick has made mistakes in the IB before, Sark is more of a run the score kind of guy. I like it all.

horseshoe is lodged so far up the proverbial arse of Auburn, it’s insane. Eventually it has to come home to rue in this series.
this might counter it. Saban will ensure team is prepared for the game. But, the whirly bird seems to get in his head at times and he over coaches the AU game.

I think the talent mismatch is such that it won't matter. But, it may be a good opportunity to place the Gus jinx aside.

Can we get back to Saban and the covid, not the hospital and covid conversations... this thread has potential to go downhill in a hurry if we don't get back on track.

Quick reminder:
Saban can still conduct practice from home.
Saban can still conduct meetings and walkthrough today and tomorrow.
Saban can still conduct pre-game meetings on Saturday all the way to 12:30pm, that is the cutoff time and he's not allowed to speak to team again until after the game.

Saban will make sure Sark will not be overwhelmed on Saturday, and I think we will see Strong step on field to help Golding, and allow Sark to focus more on offense.

All excellent points, but (and it's a big but) he can't interact with the recruits coming in for the game.

We're going to have some serious talent in town this weekend and it sucks donkey nuts that Saban can't sit down with them and their families.

There is always that zoom call :)

What is the rule on him contacting recruits during the game?

"Worthy, see that play to Smitty for touchdown? That could be you next year!"

Saban stated in today's call that he is running thing's via zoom call up until gameday.

Sark will make the call's on game day.

Saban also mentioned he has not determined which analyst will get to coach on gameday.

Sark is going to active the doomsday machine and destroy Gus. This is worse for Auburn than they realize.

They've still been doing this even though OVs are banned? That might be how he contracted Covid then.

We didn't host a single recruit last weekend.

My guess is he caught it from one of his contractually obligated media appearances. Maybe Miss Terry brought it home following a charity event?

You Know I never listen to the guy but Hunter Johnson made a really good point on twitter about Saban not being there might help Golding. And I actually believe it.

Pete Golding, freed from the shackles of having to call a million complicated defensive adjustments between when the ball is spotted and snapped 3 seconds later, will soar this weekend. I'm predicting a shutout.

Really good point IMO

Among all the zoom calls and overseeing, I hope Saban has a little time to actually rest and get over that mess.

It’s still hard to imagine Bama playing without Saban on the sidelines.

Sorry if I missed it, but what is the timeline for Saban's return?

Is he out for 12/2 as well (looking more like LSU)?
