Yeah, there was all this faux outrage over Bentley scheduling it to coincide with the general election because all those nitwits thought they could win. I understand her position, being thrust into the office, but not only would it have possibly kept Moore from winning but keeping it with the next general would have saved the state a shait ton of money. Putting on a statewide election costs about $15 million.

We're going to vote on the Senate seat in December, the next statewide General Election is November 2018. So our broke-arse state just spent $15 million because of a pissing match over 11 months.

All because she wanted to help clear the bench.

Looking forward to Tommy Battle taking her drunk arse to the woodshed.

Well, it's still bad even if he did mislabel fascism as socialism.

It's also the opposite of fascism. The correct term is corporatism.

liberalism, fascism, corporatism.......call it what you want.

The Affordable Care Act did NOT expand insurance coverage. It expanded Medicaid coverage. Causing states like Ohio to go 7 BILLION dollars over budget.

All the arse-hat politicians would have you think that insurance coverage was expanded, but that is utter bull-shite!! Medicaid is not insurance.

We will have socialized medicine, it is inevitable. ACA (ObamaCare) was nothing more than the implementation to move it forward. It is all about tax dollars and the greedy SOB dickwads in Washington are counting our hard earned dollars all the way to the bank. That is why you have the lying turds (Republican) talking in all their ads how they stood up to Obama and the other lying turds (Democrats) about fighting Obama Care. It is tax money that they have their hands on. None of them will ever vote to change and give us the choice to choose.

You "yellow dog" republicans do realize the same people in Alabama with an R after their name were once Democrats, don't you?

I prefer honesty about who you are. Switch hitters are not honest.

Howell Heflin retired instead of denying who he was. Not so with Richard Shelby

Most of those guys wouldn't be welcome in the Democratic party today. Hell, 1996 Bill Clinton wouldn't be welcome in that party. If he ran for POTUS today using the same platform he did back then, he'd be on the R ticket.

The magnetic poles of the earth swap every so often and so to the positions of political parties. If you need real world examples, Abraham Lincoln was a Republican and George Wallace made a serious run at the Democratic presidential nomination. Simply looking at the label is no way to make a judgement. Fifty years from today, you may be seeing (R)s again viewed as the voice of liberalism and (D)s as the oppressors.

He is saying that conservatives want to force their views on those topics to other people.

He's not wrong.

Of course, he ignores topics where liberals do the same thing on issues they hold dear.

We all want people to act like we think is right. That's just human nature.

It's great that a candidate who doesn't think homosexuals should be able to serve in the military will represent us at a national level.

Not at all. Fascism is replacing culture, industry and individuality with the State. In a fascist society, there wouldn't be a private insurance industry, and the gov't's interest in health care wouldn't exist beyond efficiency of the State. You'd only receive health care if it furthered the cause of the State.

Moussilini's Foundations of Fascism

We're all forced to buy all sorts of products. Shelter, food, clothes and all other neccesities. We are essentially forced to buy cars, gasoline, utlilties ect.

The government making people do things isn't inherently socialist or fascist, it's just the fundamental purpose of government and society.

I was gonna vote Jones just to protest Trump, but after he said he had to work in a racist cotton mill he proved to me he is what I thought he was.

Politicians are the scum of the earth.
