Sounds like something a dude who can't score at a Saigon whorehouse would say.

Ole Miss trying to choke. Have to say the conference as a whole hasn’t looked that great in the first round

2. Youngblood is a great spot up shooter. And I hope he doesn't attempt to do anything else ever again. He has the worst handles of any college guard I've ever seen. He can help the team, but sheesh, I can't watch him dribble at arm's length and shoulder high without holding my breath.
It's really hard to figure out how he and Johnell Davis were Co-Players of the year last year in their conference. Johnell Davis's teammate was Alijah Martin who is an athletic freak of nature for Florida and kind of scores at will. Davis put up very nice numbers, but he and Youngblood aren't even in the same conversation with Alijah Martin athletically or skill wise. I admit, I was 100 percent on the Youngblood hype train prior to the season, but he is shockingly not athletic, quick or even Dad move smooth.

So, this is kinda unsettling...

The last time a 2 seed got a scare from Robert Morris, they lost in the second round to St. Mary's

O shite (Villanova 2010 for anyone wondering)
Duke was the 1 seed in that region too and ended up winning it all!

And Nova /Alabama were/are both coming off a Final Four appearance
quote:
Both lost to the eventual champ in that Final Four appearance, an eventual champ that won every game by double digits and are considered among the best teams of all time
And if that's not enough, Jon Scheyer was also on that championship Duke team!

Both previously coached at New York schools too- Jay Wright at Hofstra, Oats at Buffalo.

Everytime I see him catch and shoot he's missing far more than making
I don't even understand the hype. You guys can downvote all you want but he struggles to defend, rebound and score consistently. He doesn't have great handles or scoring instinct because he's extremely streaky.
Very disappointing player considering how people hyped him as the best player on the roster

I'm quite sure that doesn't mean anything at all.

Any update on Stevenson’s wrist injury? How serious is it?

Absolutely nobody did that. Yes, there was hype. But unless you were talking hoops with Forrest and Bubba, nobody said that.

I dont recall anyone saying he was the best player on the roster. But there was some hype.
He's a good player. I dont know what yall are on about. He will be good against St Marys. He is not a great athlete but he knows how to play the game. His shot has just been off. He is still pretty good around the basket.

No it doesn't. Because we're gonna frick St Mary's up. Just a funny list of coincidences.

Probably sore. But he went back into the game. I'm more concerned about his broken ankles. That probably hurts more than his wrist.

Florida's just a fricking buzzsaw. But it still sucks to know that if 'Bama shot even close to how they normally do, it's a win or at least a closer game.

They play beautiful basketball and just stomp on their opponents neck. They know when to pick the speed up and slow it down. We look like a complete street ball mess compared to them. I'm jealous.

Of those that played the whole season, he’s the got the second best 3pt percentage on the team. Holloway’s at 41.7. Youngblood’s at 38.7. Sears is 5% worse than Youngblood.

YStar just has a hard-on for Youngblood. Apparently he's the source of all 'Bama's woes this season.

He is a bit streaky. The he’s had 2 games at like 70-80% on high volume and then several other games that he’s been average or worse.

Just an observation from the box score. 3 starters combined for 10 measly points. Phi had 1 and Jarin had 2.

Philon and Youngblood need to give us more on Sunday if we plan on participating in the 2nd weekend of the tournament.
RMU really beat on Sears...getting away with a lot more contact than I'm use to seeing in a tourney but eventually Sears started getting some calls in the 2nd half though not as many as he should've gotten. I expect SMU to try to do the same. The other guys are going to have to share the load a bit better.
Granted, Philon, Holloway, and Youngblood combined for 13 assists. They did a lot of good facilitating with teams continuing to try to run us off the 3pt line and aggressively helping off bigs on drives. Hard to quibble when the top 4 guards have 23 assists and the front court scored 53 of our 90 points.
Guards better be ready to lock down SMU's facilitator at PG, Marciulionis. We've had a lot of trouble with guards this year. Plus, this guy has been on the same team for 4 years and has a lot of starting experience. If Philon did nothing but setup the offense and lockdown this guy then he'd put us well on our way.
