Barry Sanderson, the son of a legend, mark it down..

.

Will talk about the hire for days on the radio, even during football season.

ISU guy, Buff. guy. Belmont guy Liberty Guy. UCF guy.

The ones who are high profile will have the UCLA's of the world calling. So if Petino is allowed to coach in the NCAA then he will pick a blue blood. And UCLA is the only blue blood looking at this time.

Dawkins may be the silent coach in waiting for Duke, so passing on asking him may be a good thing. I think when Greg B announces our new coach there will be some head scratching but we will be pleasantly surprised. If this team can stay in tack and keep all the croots then I expect us to have a good season next year. We do need a big man though. But anyone that is more consistent then Hall will be an improvement.

So I shouldn't trust BigWhiteBootySports67 tweets?

Yeah and the real smoke about Pitino started with Joseph Goodman, the idiot who said Alabama would be better this year without Sexton.

At this stage no one knows.

Yea, Byrne won't let anything out. The only thing we can pretty much guarantee is that this will be a pretty quick search. 2 weeks at max, in my opinion

Thad Matta

Good article from mid 2018 with quotes from Thad about getting back into coaching and whatnot. Seems as if he’s enjoying retirement, but would do the right situation.

If Thad is healthy and ready to coach again then Alabama seems to be the perfect place for him to land, Very similar to Ohio state where he was before big namebrand powerful football program with the chance to do things that have never been done before in basketball at that school. Same goes for Billy Donovan, it really all boils down to whether or not they want to take on a rebuilding project or go to an established basketball program .

Saw a satirical tweet advocating for Tony Barbee as "no one beat Auburn more than Tony Barbee"

I lulzed and thought I'd share

If y'all hire a Cal assistant though, might as well just cancel the program

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was done by next week end. Final 4 at max.

Ive never been a big NBA fan, but now I will follow the Thunder religiously, hoping the losses pile up.

I have it on good authority that Saban will be retiring in the next week. He will then become basketball coach at Alabama and we will be hiring Dabo to coach football.

TIFWIW

I always wonder how much push by agents these "journalists" have in throwing certain names out there.

Cecil with a tweet:

Watching this Houston game.

Why tweet that? He usually doesn't keep people up to date on what he's watching.

Sampson watch?

Overthinking it?

I'd love Chris Beard, but I don't see Alabama paying his buyout. I'm pretty sure it's astronomical

As funny as it sounds, the fundamentals would certainly improve.
